Ads are everywhere dummy!

You can’t close your mind off from the ads in this world.  We are just consumers.  Our private lives and working lives have merged so we can read ADS on this website during silent reading in a classroom and send out emails about American HISTORY at 1:30 am when I have to wake up in a few hours.

Yes anonymous noter. I can’t control whether McDonald’s advertisements are at the bottom of "my" diary. I can’t control if a careless SUV driver smashes my skull reaching for a french fry as I ride my bike down down Kendall Drive. How much control do any of us have?

In fact you can think of this whole diary of "mine" as an extension of "my" thoughts in which I circuitously try to examine of the system of control in our society and nature (where do you draw the line?). How much of "MY" thoughts do "I" control? What is the difference between the two concepts?

If I borrow constantly from everything around me, when are my thoughts really my own? This concept of ownership and the confluence of our public and private thoughts is a fascinating question.

If I’m obsessed with the Hamburgler and he is in my dreams- do I not own my own dreams?

Is it so bad to dream about hamburgers?

If you’ve read this far you deserve an intellectual treat Go eat a cow and feel bad because you now own the cow’s life and you realize you will only waste the calories on a meaningless existence

…But I don’t eat cows! 🙁 But yes, I do believe what you are saying. More or less, we are products of our environment, and our environment, seems to be more advertisements. They’re SO prevalent, that we cannot even realize them sometimes. Sad? I think so. Take care of yourself.

you ought to chill out. not all people like to write diaries – some just like to read them and point of the ironies of life, so if someone leave it an anonymous note maybe it’s not because they are intentionally trying to be anonymous, but instead they are just too lazy to create a diary of their own, especially when you don’t ever know who will read it.
