observant, insightful people
My sister has a coworker who scares the shit out of me.
It’s not because he’s a frightening person, at least not in the traditional sense. But there’s a lot there to worry me.
First, he’s an extravert. Immensely extraverted, in fact. He is loud and…loudmouthed…and just really, really loud.
What’s more concerning is that he is amazingly observant and insightful. In a way that I had ceased to believe that other people were. Other people are blind and stupid, and don’t see things even if you wave them around extensively right in front of their faces. Other people do not see the obvious things, and they certainly do not see the things that you take a minute amount of effort to hide.
Except, he does.
“How did you get that scar on your hand?”
“Oh…it was an accident at work.”
“Yeah? What about that scar on your other hand?”
“…”
You can see why it’s an issue. Most other people are stupid and slow, but even they might catch on if he keeps drawing attention to something. I do not need someone to draw attention to this. That is not helpful at all.
At the same time, while I acknowledge the necessity of staying far away from this guy, I find him fascinating. I am not accustomed to being around other observant, insightful people, and I find the experience…thrilling.
You’d hate me too. ;P Cept I’m not really the loudmouthed part in front of other people.

Tell him you don’t want him pointing anything out, it’s uncomfortable. It’s ok to be honest :/ I think my struggles have actually made me more observant, when I’m around people I look closely at them, I want to see and hear everything they don’t tell.
Warning Comment
Maybe other people notice, but think it would be rude to ask questions.
