I spend a lot of time wondering what I did that I was damned to spend my entire life in some desperate search for deeper meaning. That I would have to spend my whole life in a state of suspended misery, completely untouched by everything around me. That I would never know love.
Your WHOLE/ENTIRE life? You’re only 22! But, yes, you could waste all of your life, if you want too. That’s completely up to you. Keep doing what you’ve been doing. It doesn’t work, but you are getting something out of it. Just know, that should you change your mind, it’s never to late to change your circumstances-regardless of your age. I was a late bloomer too!
