Raining

I love the rain.  I love grey skies, I love the wet, I love the sound on the roof or going down the gutter, I even enjoy the chill, just a bit.  I’ve always loved rain, I really adore summer rains in humid places, where you can get soaking wet, but not freeze.  I’m definitely a Crab (Cancer), I pretty much love all things water.  I’ve always loved to swim.  When I was pregnant with Sammi, we went to the Dominican Republic where we went to a nudist resort, so I would skinny dip in the pool in the rain… that was the BEST, the absolute best.  So it’s a rainy day today if you couldn’t guess. 

It’s been a generally quiet day.  Kristin was gone when I got up, Jerry’s taking Maurisha home now.   We’re having what looks like chili with at least 3 kinds of beans in it.  Should be yummy. 

One of my groups had a question about digiscrap vs traditional, vs hybrid scrapping.  I gave a pretty lengthly overview about my opinion on the matter.  I haven’t done much with the computer stuff in a long time, though I continue to collect stuff.  I might just put another book together for Christmas this year for everyone.  Though I’m going to have to figure out how to do it more economically, and how to put more photos on a page and have it still look good.  I can’t do one photo layouts with 5 kids.  The youngest starts to dominate the layouts.  Though in this case, that might not be such a bad thing.  *rolls eyes*  I STILL need to get started on the younget’s book, big time.  I will have to think how I want to go about her album, becuse I’m still kind of stuck on doing a week by week… I just don’t know how feasible that is.  But she won’t be a baby forever.  I’m sure I can look here for ideas on what she was doing when, and coordinate that with my pages.  I talk about Alex SO much in here.  I should do some journaling, and get that printed out first, then I can get the pictures to go with it.  I didn’t do enough journaling for Sammi’s book, not even close.

I am going to see about uploading my latest projects, because I do like to have them all in one place. 

Well, I need to wrap up.  I’ve got a lot of things going on, and I don’t feel like writing anymore.
