No McDonald’s.  I didn’t REALLY think it was going to happen.  Syd took too long with getting her homework done, and Shabree asked if she could go to the park… fine, I said.  Then Kristin told Syd she hated her.  So I asked Shabree why she’d want to go to the park with someone who said that to her sister?  She was going to go, talk to her about it, and come back, but then Jerry got home and told her not to go.  Get this:  Kristin calls back, Jerry talks to her and she lies and says she didn’t say it to Sydni, and would NEVER say anything like that.  But then Syd got on the phone with her, and Kristin told her she was mad about Maurisha being here this weekend.  Little two faced liar.  I keep telling the girls that Kristin is NOT the kind of friend they want/need, especially when she’s about the only kid they hang out with.  Except for how good Kristin is with the two littlest in this house, there is not much that is redeeming about her.  

I ended up giving Syd her second dose of Ritalin at 4 so she could get her homework done, and she got to sleep after 9, but that’s about par for the course with Syd.  She keeps everyone up though.  I’m always getting after them…ESP her, to get to bed.  Another little "drive me nuts" kind of thing that you only see with Syd.  However, she DOES get herself up in the morning.  If she keeps it up, I’ll let her pick her own bedtime.  I was allowed to do that when I was 10, and I was very responsible about it.  Becca, we’ve gone back and forth with, but we mostly let her pick her own bedtime…Jerry just takes away her coveted radio if she doesn’t get up in time.

Gotta go… gonna watch SVU, then we’re going to watch "W" on DVD (it’s the movie about G.W.  Should be interesting.)
