Quick entry
The powerbook won’t last long at this point. I had a good day, took Shabree to the mall so I could go to the Apple Store. The powerbook’s DVD drive needs replacing, and I needed OS 10.4 for Annie’s computer, so she can use hush mail… it requires a higher java than 10.3 provides. I couldn’t get the PB repaired, because I hadn’t made an appt, that rather upset me, but what can I do? So I got my software, and we took it and the PB back to the car. We wanted to eat at Fresh Choice, but they weren’t open yet, so we went back into the mall, and cruised around a bit, We ended up at Build a Bear, and realized that her pink poodle, Ko Ko needed repair, AND he was in the car! So we headed towards the car, but as we got to Fresh Choice, they opened up, so we practically dived in, were like the first people in line. We got salad, soup, Shabree had mac and cheese, I had pasta w/ bolgonese sauce w/ meatballs, which Shabree just HAD to have some of. We both had a little ice cream for dessert, it was delicious. I even indulged in some diet pepsi. Shabree was very sweet throughout lunch, and a real pleasure to be around. I had a good time. So we went and got Koko, took him back to build a bear, and got him repaired, then we walked into the Discovery
Channel store, where I got Becca a birthday present, a klutz book on fingernail painting she should LOVE, and myself a kluzt book on quilling (they call it twirling) which didn’t have a whole lot of info I didn’t already know, but I appreciated that it came with the tools to get started and really learn how.
So, a pretty good day. We had chicken, boxed pasta, and peas for dinner… I made sure I had a LOT of peas, but man, that pasta was really good (angel hair w/ parmesean…yum!) so I had to have seconds on that. I doubt it’ll hurt me, that mall gave me quite a workout… lol, the ice cream should be fine too. Hm… makes me think a girl scout cookie might not kill me either.
Nah.
Best not to get into THAT kind of thinking.
All right, wrap it up, I’m going to lose the battery on this thing any time now, though it’s not yet in the red, it will be soon. It usually doesn’t even give me any warning.
ryn: Nope, you’re not. Just random drama started back up again once I tried to start writing again, so I put the entry on private.
