NoJoMo Day 20
I’m going to bed soon. I slept from 7 until 12, and then have been up since then. I put baby girl in her cradle, took 2 Tylenol PMs, and look forward to a decent night’s sleep now. I ache, so the tylenol will certainly help with that. I ran around all over this morning…went to WIC, did a weighted feed on the baby… 2 ounces! Yes, that’s GOOD. Before, she was getting .5 or .9, which will lead to low milk supply. God knows, I have done EVERYTHING in my power to keep breastfeeding that child… and I’m pretty sure as of right now, I am smack dab in the middle of a normal supply! YAY! This is a good thing. This means the ability to exclusively breastfeed her. Of course, I have to check with her ped before going that route. They gave me baby cereal for her, so I chose oatmeal… hope she likes it as much as the rest of us. Oatmeal is good stuff. Then, on to the DMV, to get tags! We’re legal, YAY again! No more getting pulled over for expired registration. Now I just have to pay the fine on the fix-it. Which I may have to get insurance first. I guess that’s tomorrow. Then I went to Winco, got a few things we were out of, and came home. Oh, I forgot, before I left WIC, I went to the Prime Time Nutrition store and filled most of my WIC vouchers. That’s when I got the cereal (and milk, eggs, cheese, juice, etc.) The LC at WIC told me they’re changing the vouchers next year. That should be a good thing, for sure. More fruits and veggies, evidently tofu will be offered! I don’t have much of an appreciation for tofu, but we DO have way too much peanut butter and beans, so tofu may be an alternative.
Well, I’m feeling like this med is finally kicking in, so I’m off to bed.
