More on the Zoloft
Okay, not sure what I wrote yesterday, but I went to Kaiser today to get the 25mg tablets my dr prescribed, in the hopes that a lower dosage will keep me from feeling nauseous and throwing up. I managed to keep some snacks and dinner down, and I did not take a dose last night, because she wanted me to take it in the morning. Plus she told me she’d put in an exception code so it would NOT cost me another 140 dollars to get the new meds. Anyway, in essense what happened was that they refunded the 140, but then I have a deductible of 250 on name brand meds, SO, they re-charged the 140 and applied it towards my deductible, so I’m halfway there. 140 is a LOT, but it won’t kill me at this stage of my life… 10 years ago, I’d have had to have my mom pay it, but these days… it’s different. Anyway, they told me to quarter the pills I have, so I did not end up even getting the prescription. I don’t really care, they told me how to cut them up so they don’t end up zoloft dust. I didn’t get any food in me until almost 11:30, which isn’t good, really, but at least I kept it down, you know? We went to Burger King, so Shabree could play, and then she STILL wanted to play, so we went to the park, and I walked around a bit, trying to work off the calories and fat from the Burger King. I have GOT to stop eating like that. It’s not healthy, and it’s not conducive to keeping my weight stable. Even if I AM supposed to be gaining a pound a week, which I hate, that’s not a great way to go about doing it.
Anyway, I took the zoloft with my lunch, and so far, so good, we’ll see what happens. In a couple of weeks, I’m supposed to up the dosage back to 50mg.
Well, I just heard the girls getting home from school, Shabree has the tv on SpongeBob, so no homework will get done unless I go down there and put the kibosh on the tv even being ON… but then, they probably won’t get to their homework until 3 anyway, just from having to have a snack and all that. But I’d better get down there anyway.
