Man, I’m tired…QUICK update

I’m needing more sleep.  We leave tomorrow at 5 p.m. on our vacation, and we’re not even close to being packed up or anything close to it.  It’ll go fast though… I washed all the clothes, though that’s about as far as I’ve gotten with the project.  Good GRIEF, I hate folding and putting away clothes, esp socks… SO tedious.

I went to the office today to help Jerry out, then went and had lunch with Linda… before we went to Babies R Us… I could get into some SERIOUS trouble in that store!  I did find a table on clearance for 40, marked down from 100… whoohoo!  So I bought that for Shabree and Syd…and Samantha when she’s old enough.  It only has two chairs, and they are small chairs.  It’s a cute table…little dinged up, kinda dirty…but what kid has a table in perfect condition? 

Anyway, after lunch, we hit a scrapbook store for about an hour, then I had to go to the Sacramento Recorder’s office to file a deed of trust on one of the houses our business owns.  Our business partner found a buyer for it, but sort of neglected to tell us that he had… well, he simply was underhanded about it.  The business is making the payments and taking the loss, and he was just hoping to quietly sell it from underneath us and pocket a LOT of profit.  Shame, shame.  He had a chance to buy it months ago, and just never did.  He was going to pay much less than what we’re selling it for..about 65 thousand… so the deed of trust is for 65 thousand.

Jerry just came downstairs, saying everywhere he looks, there is scrap stuff, our room is totally a lost cause.  I told him, yes, I know.

I have really no clue as to what to DO with all the scrap stuff.  I had a good organizational system for it, but it’s falling over because it’s so heavy, and I can’t put anything else into it.  I can’t expand it either, to make it lighter, because it fills the table it’s on.
So I started scrapping downstairs, just to have a space to scrap in, now the living room table is full of scrap stuff.  So yes, there is scrap stuff everywhere, yes, it’s a terrible mess, yes, I need to DO SOMETHING with it, and no, I do not have the energy, or any idea what to do with it, or how to go about getting it re-organized.  I did buy a 10 drawer system for organizing, but I’m gonna need help putting it together.

Obviously, I am NOT the best housekeeper…

Oh, so much for a short update.  I’ve really got to get going.
