I would *NEVER* starve myself

But I’m absolutely not above eating the absolute minimum calories needed for survival, lol.  And exercising a bunch.  Though yesterday, I really only exercised 20 minutes, and today I’ve done 30, and hope to do another 30.  But I did PLENTY of laundry yesterday, which is good activity.  However, all that being said, I did not break 200 today.  No, I was at 200.0 at 9 a.m. and I HAD to eat, had to get my day started, so no seeing if peeing again was going to bring it down (LOL).  It’s funny… I get up, I pee, I weigh myself, go back to bed.  Get up in another hour, pee, weigh myself to see if it’s changed, which is has, sometimes by 6-8 ounces, which is a HUGE difference.  It’s all smoke and mirrors though, until you’ve been at that weight for a couple of days, or you’re seeing a LOW number, like 200.0, as opposed to 200/8..  I would say I’m at 200, but def not 199.

Now today, I took the younger 4 girls over to our old town of Galt (if you ever see the name galtscrapper ANYWHERE on the net, that’s me… and that’s why I’m named that…) because the library there has a program called Paws for Reading, cute little play on words there, wouldn’t you say?  And they have a dog there, and the kids can sit and read to the dog, or be read to while they sit by the dog.  So Shabree read to the dog, and Sammi got read to while sitting by the dog, and Syd declined to participate, and Alex is too young.  Sammi and Alex got restless, and LOUD, so we left pretty quickly after Sammi’s turn, and she made a HUGE fuss about getting a book, and while it was being checked out, she screamed so loud that people turned around to see what was wrong!  I was MORTIFIED.  When we left, I kept telling Sammi how poorly she’d acted, but there wasn’t much I could do about it.  Very frustrating.  I  hate it when my kids act like such brats.  Crap, I had Shabree trained SO well, and Sammi is a GOOD kid, most of the time.

Had to break for dinner.

After we went to the library, we went to the park that was over by our old house.  Syd was hoping to pick blackberries, as there are some wild ones by the creek at the pakr, but there weren’t any worth taking.  There were also grapes, so they picked some of those and we ate them, but they had BIG seeds in them.  I’d like to plant some grape vines and other fruits, but then I think, how knows really how long we’ll be here anyway?  But I do want my yard to be filled with edibles.

After the kids played at the park for awhile, and I chatted with another mom (that NEVER happens here, sigh, they’re so SNOBBISH around here) we drove by our old house… it looked semi deserted, except for some stuff in the windows which might have been for decoy.  Then we hit some garage sales, and the last one we hit, I kid you NOT, invited us to take anything we wanted!  So we hit the mother lode once again, and came home with a little tiffany lamp, some books, some toys (including a motorized sit down scooter for Sammi, which needs charging, but we HAVE a charger somewhere), a rotisserie, some free weights which I MAY give away, a massager which I need badly, a sandwich maker which should come in handy for lunches, a Cranium game.  That’s about everything, but it was PLENTY.  Now I just need some cheap/free towels.  All in all, a good day.  I’ve GOT to get Shabree into the mode of liking to read, not just tolerating it or even groaning.  I wish Paula would sit still to be read to.  Darn dog.

Once again, after dinner, I still have 300-600 calories to spare.  I’m not even hungry, though dinner took so long, I sure was before dinner.  I should do another 30 minutes of step, then maybe break for the evening.  I’m wondering if we should go to the museum tomorrow (it’s free) or next weekend?  The girls want to go on field trips, and it seems to me that Saurday and Sunday are PERFECT days to go on field trips.  I just need to find good learning activities.  The libraries around here have TONS of activities, I just need to take the kids to them.  We should go to the library more often anyway, but it drives me nuts with Sammi and Alex, and then Shabree and Syd WON’T read, they just want to play on the computer!  And it’s the "baby" computer to boot, the little kids, it’s not really meant for 9 year olds.  Sigh.  How am I going to get these kids to READ?  They’re kind of driving me nuts.  I’m going to have to MAKE them read, and it’s not fun to do that.  I want them to LOVE reading on their own.  Syd especially is getting to an age where she should be able to read on her own.

Well, I am STRUGGLING to type, and the computer is going SO slow.. I am going to wrap up.
