*Edit* Finally able to add photos
I ought to be doing something else. I mean, really, have I NOT piddled enough time away on this computer? C’mon Sarah… enough is enough already. I’m downloading, evidently for the second time, a quickpage I want to use. This is on the mac…downloading things pretty much "locks it up" It doesn’t really, but I can’t exactly DO anything while waiting either. That computer SO needs more RAM, not to mention a DVD R drive…these were things I was planning on buying and installing, but it’s hard to make such purchases when you have NO money coming in.
That reminds me. I got a call today (Wednesday) from an attorney, supposedly, asking for money for my Discover card. It’s a shame it has had to come to this, but dang, this attorney was in my FACE… "do you still work for Freedome Solutions?" "Well, the company exists, but it’s not paying me, and I don’t really go in" (we OWN Freedom Solutions, but we also are employees, and it IS true, I haven’t been paid. Brian got paid a BUNCH, and we got shafted. There’s no money really left in the company. "Are you planning on getting another job" (WHY is this any of their business, anyway, and aren’t these questions illegal? i’m thinking to myself… BUT I want to be honest) "Well, I was thinking about it, but I have 4 children to take care of, and day care is about 500 dollars a month each, which means that I have to pay 2000 a month in day care… and I have NO idea where I’d get a job paying the money I’d need to make to do that."
And the grilling continued. WHAT I should have done, and will do in the future, is told them I was going to record the call. They aren’t allowed to ask those sorts of questions. EVER… not on the phone anyway.
So that call stressed me out, and I told her so. I WISH I had recorded it. It would be nice to have a record of the harassment. It is AMAZING what bill collectors STILL think they can get away wtih!
Okay, I’m going back to work now, but I am waiting to post this to the "new day" so might write a little more in a bit…
I decided to get on the mac and TRY to post some pictures… but Photobucket won’t let me log in???? Oh hello.
Or as Pooh might say "Oh Bother."
I did a couple of layouts, one is really pretty, the other is cute… but I couldn’t use the photo I REALLY wanted to, so I am going to have to do a whole page just for that photo, and put it together myself.
Oh GREAT… Photobucket seems to just be down… I am trying to access it "nornally" and it’s not loading there either.
So much for posting my layouts.
Maybe tomorrow.
Well, how about tonight AFTER ALL?
Here is a layout I did starting out. It was my second digi layout NOT done with a quickpage… one I did ALL myself. Using Anita’s (nana’s attic… okay, I LOVE her work, okay?) Country Delite kit
I think it’s cute. The pics KIND of overwhelm the page, and there was hardly ANY room for journaling… but I was SO proud of myself for figuring out how to mat my pictues, lol.
Here is another one I did, Anita’s quickpages again…this one was from a kit called Sunny Days. I wanted to use a different photo, but it just wouldn’t all fit in the space available, so I will have to scrap that photo separately, and the "hard way" No quickpages for THAT photo.
Now I just need to find a good photo of Bec to scrap.
Here is another one, I DON’T think I’ve posted this one yet… another one from Anita:
Last but not least, a "rose plopper" this one is NOT from Anita, lol… it’s a quickpage I picked up and did awhile back. You know, it’s odd… I could have SWORN I already did this, and the picture was already uploaded to Photobucket. WEIRD. Maybe I DID do the entry, but forgot to save, lost it somehow, I don’t know. NO, I KNOW I did it, because with this next photo, I wrote how this was when she was learning to crawl up the stairs, and yesterday she learned to crawl back down. She’ll be walking any day now. Anyway, here it is:
Now, with that, I am OUTTA here. I’ve got to get up by 9 tomorrow to be able to go to Stockton by 11. So I will be a little tired, though I’ll get 7 hours, assuming baby girl is mostly cooperative.
Damm thats cool how you put the music there, and good songs at that!
