Been a couple of weeks
I’m trying to think of what’s different, you know? And all I could think of was that Alex is FINALLY… finally finally, finally walking. She’s still pretty unsteady, and she looks underweight and spindly legged, but she’s walking. Last week I went to WIC, they have a new program, and I was telling them that I was giving her toddler formula for the iron, and they told me NOT to do that… it’s just baby formula really. They said I was wasting my money. Then she told me that if the baby is having trouble gaining weight, they can help with Pediasure. Really? COOL! So I took her to the doctor, who complained about the forms (they don’t pay her to fill them out you know! LOL… yea, no doubt. I complained about the classes…) so she’ll be on pediasure. Yay… that ought to help her weight out, which I would LOVE to see go up.
Hooray for Alex & my fingers are crossed that the pediasure helps! WOO HOO!

Yay for Alex walking!! Matty was put on Pediasure b/c he wasn’t gaining like he was supposed to be, etc… and while he’s still small for his age (8) he’s definitely not runty looking like he used to be. I have my WIC appointment today for Elizabeth and myself. I figured it up, between the two of us, we’re getting like 9.5 gallons a month (we actually have to buy it by the half gallon b/c they don’t sell gallons of milk). Crazy! We drink a lot of milk, but I don’t think nearly 10 a month. Guess we’re about to start.
