First of all, it’s painful to write, I have really bad eczema on the tip of one of my fingers. Second, my font is screwed up on my computer thanks to Becca (my laptop) so I can’t see it well enough to know if I’ve mmispelled something or not. I can see a red underline, but I can’t really fix it, so any errors will probably just end up remaining, sorry about that.
I wrote a long, well, fairly long entry on the desktop computer earlier, but now it’s not connecting to the internet, and I don’t know why not. The cable seems fine, but it’s not connecting. I will have to replace the cable. Anyway, I feel handicapped working on the laptop since I can’t really see my font.
There isn’t really a whole lot to tell anyway. I get up in the morning, take the girls to school, come home, take a nap with the baby, then get up with a couple of hours to do whatever, usually end up making some sort of lunch and watching tv with Shabree, today we watched The Twilight Zone… it had Jack Klugman, really good episode. I liked it anyway. I like science fiction and fantasy. Then we go pick up the girls, come home, on Mondays they go to Karate, Jerry came home early enough to take them today. I was VERY happy about that, which made Mecca mad at me… oh well. She said I was mean. I said, No, I’m selfish, there’s a difference! I never get time to myself, so when he takes them So I put the baby down for a nap, and got some time to myself. It was NICE.
I increased my font size, which has helped me see better. I need to reinstall my OS, but I can’t find the CD right now. This is so annoying, and I have no idea what Becca did to it, and neither does she.
Anyway, back to my day, after Karate, we come home and I figure out something for dinner, then maybe we watch a little tv, then bed for the kids (yea right), and then if it’s one of my tv nights, which are Monday, Wed, and Thursday, I watch my shows, then maybe go to my scrap room, try to go to bed by 11 or 12, but many nights I just can’t sleep until 2. At some point, well, many points, I get up with the baby, or if she wakes up when I try to go to bed, then I stay up with her, or get up with her, feed her, and I don’t go back to sleep until after she goes to sleep. I try to put her back in her crib, but sometimes I’m just too tired, and as a result, sometimes I end up waking her up moving around. Lately she’s been waking up around 6 a.m., falling asleep in the truck taking the girls to school, and it really wrecks trying to get her down for a nap n the morning.
Tomorrow, Shabree has speech therapy, so I’ll probably take her to bBurger King or something. I’m really not sure, but I’m starting to yawn now, and thinking about that makes me think maybe I should go to bed.
One other note though… the financial crisis is over, for the most part. Jerry still needs to close a deal for it to REALLY be over, but for now, we’ve got enough money to live on for a year, if we’re careful. I’m pretty happy about that, of course.
My back hurts sitting here. I could take this into the living room, I suppose.
Good to hear from you. So what milestones has Sammy reached? Is she crawling, walking, talking???
