Well, I am SURE to need an edit later on this one, because it is still Saturday for me, but it’s two a.m. which means technically, it’s Sunday.  I just got off a 3 hour call with Linda, and at one point, I ended up calling her back, because we were discussing the Bearns and Sterns (fiasco), and all of a sudden, I noticed a bunch of clicking on the line, and she noticed that on her end, it sounded all echo-y.  We hung up and I called her on the other line.  Per Jerry’s advice.  I think it’s because I mentioned the F-E-D.  Which after I called her back, I spelled everything out, because they listen for certain key words and phrases, and then record any call where those pop up… as part of national so called security…and I worry about even putting that into print, just a little, which is why is says so called.  I’m unsure if they do searches to look for certain key words and phrases on the net, but it just would NOT surprise me if they do.  I’m pretty sure our govt keeps a pretty good eye on its citizens.  I was reading a book, it’s a work of fiction, by Steve Martini, and in the book, a govt agency used spyware to mine information to spy on its citizens.  Really good book, but scary in the regards that I KNOW there is software possible of doing that.  Mac or not.  I FEEL pretty innocent, I’m not out there trying to defraud my WONDERFUL govt (lol… sorry… though I’m not being entirely sarcastic, only a LITTLE sarcastic, ok?)  at least not deliberately.  I do my best to be a law abiding citizen, I really do.  I don’t quite understand why the govt spies on its citizens.  I’m not being paranoid… that wasn’t the FIRST time I’ve ever heard clicking noises after talking about the govt.  And you’ll notice not once have I spelled out the word.  Just being cautious is all.  I guess the thing is… Jerry is in pursuit of fairly large amounts of money.  At this point, he will have earned it, I believe.  The thing is… we then have to get that money into this country and into our hands without getting it frozen, seized, taken, or in any other way not able to be used by us… and the greedy bastards (not necessarily our govt, mind you… could just be a bank with "security issues") WILL take any opportunity to do it… because they still get to USE that money while it remains frozen.  WE DON’T, they DO.  Hell, what a great deal for them.  And we haven’t done anything wrong, other than brought a large sum of money into their bank.  To them, it just needs to SMELL suspicious, next thing you know, they’ve locked down your money for an indeterminate amount of time while they "investigate."  Uh huh…  I would insert a sarcastic comment here, but I’m afraid someone WILL read this, and take it as though I said it for real, so I’ll leave out the sarcastic comments for now.   Jerry’s met too many people who have had it, lost it, maybe had it again, and lost it again…etc.  We aim to not have that happen, and one thing is, don’t put all the eggs in one basket.  Don’t use just one bank, in other words…spread it around, so if there are issues at one bank, you can still pull funds from another bank.  I figure we ought to use a few different investment vehicles as well, some invested by me, some invested by Jerry…which his will do better, I guarantee it, but so long as we can pull money out when we need it, does it really matter?  And so long as we don’t LOSE a ton of it on whatever… it doesn’t matter.  The object of the "game" is to hold on to the money, and be able to have it to use.  It’s just using common sense.  I don’t care about the money except as a means to an end of having a better life for us and our kids.  I told Shabree today that once Daddy has money, I’ll take her (and the other girls) on a limo ride… because when I was a teenager, I had a friend who on two occasions rented a limo for a couple of hours, and it was FUN.  It was a neat experience, one worth having in one’s life.  Though Shabree wants to go to the beach, and I told her, that could get a tad expensive… maybe we’ll just have them drive us around for awhile.  I did say that Daddy’s got to make enough money first.  Anyway, I told her she may have to remind me, but when we have the money, I’ll do it.
Well, I’m getting really tired, and I don’t want a repeat of last night when I didn’t get to sleep until five a.m.   I don’t have anything really profound to say tonight, lol… though I have had a lot on my mind, mostly about taking responsibility for our lives (instead of giving it all to God as some would suggest you do… but more on that later.)   I can barely keep my eyes open anymore, so obviously, time to head off to bed.  Hopefully I don’t hurt as much as I did last night… had to take a couple of Tylenol, and would like to avoid that if possible, since I’d had to take two the night before as well.
Mmmm, and I need to write about the insurance info I found tonight… might just be able to make this work…. it’s GOOD to have a business ;).  Seriously… but more on that later as well.  Stay tuned.
