I’m having a baby shower! Please visit:

Well, crap.  I’m still not getting enough sleep.  I didn’t get a chance to do any bible reading yesterday… don’t remember why, though we DID go to John’s Incredible Pizza last night, this time the one in Roseville.  We had fun cards that had an hour’s worth of unlimited play on them, and OMG did we put those cards through their paces…we had SO MUCH FUN.  The Roseville John’s was BUSY.  I mean, the Stockton one NEVER has a line, this one had a line all night long.  I gotta say though, the food was fresher.  I love John’s salad bar, it is the BEST.  But… I had gas.  It hurt like a… well, it hurt a LOT.  I finally stopped hurting after I started…. um, passing said gas.  Many, many times.  Oh, the WONDERS of pregnancy, will the NEVER cease?  😉  Sorry, couldn’t resist a sarcastic moment there.  I KNOW I’m not supposed to dislike being pregnant.  When it’s a first pregnancy, and it’s a child you’ve waited all your life to have, that’s one thing… but I swear, this time it’s SERIOUSLY, been there, done that.  I need a t-shirt ;).  I’m so ready to have this squirmy worm.  That IS one thing though… I am oddly in love with how much this baby moves around.  It is an active little thing.  🙂  It’s a good sign, in my mind.  Rick told me that means it’s a boy.  I really don’t think so… Shabree was a squirmy worm too.  This one though, seems to get the hiccups a lot, and MAYBE I’m just more aware of it because it’s number three, but I don’t remember hiccups this "young" in the previous two… but it’s got to be that I’m just more aware of it.
I was just re-reading the part I wrote about John’s and I had to add, Sammi was SO cute last night.  She was having the time of her life, running around.  They have a kiddie area designed for LITTLE ones, and she was totally loving that area… I’d take her out and put her on these little bikes that moved, which she also loved, but put her down, and she ran right BACK to that kiddie area, laughing the entire way!  We did NOT get out of John’s until 10… and Sammi, little Energizer Bunny that she is, just kept going, and going, and going.  Though she cried almost the entire way home.  She didn’t go to sleep until she got in her crib… and she got up surprisingly early this morning.  She’s down for a nap now, and she needed it badly.  I’ve never met a kid like Sammi who could go on for so long without crashing.  She DID have a nap from 4-5, though I don’t know how much she slept, she hadn’t gotten up til noon yesterday (!?!?!?)  I totally expected her to fall asleep on the way home, and she just DIDN’T.  Even Shabree would eventually give it up, especially in her car seat, with music going.  You have to put Sammi in a quiet, dark environment, or she doesn’t sleep properly at all.  And never has… when we had her in our room, if we came in to go to bed, and were talking in low voices that wouldn’t even come CLOSE to waking any of the other children up, she’d wake up.  And it’s not like this is a quiet house…you’d think she’d get used to it, but nope.  She requires quiet. That’s just Sammi for you.  At least in the event that the fire alarm goes off, she’s the ONE child we have that would wake up and get out of the house (God forbid the fire alarm ever go off for "real" but I SWEAR Syd and Shabree could sleep right through it!  I’m NOT sure about Bec, but probably so…)
Oooh, speaking of Bec, tomorrow is the big 13.  Teenager… it has such a TONE to it.   I told her today, don’t be a teenager Bec… you can be 13, just don’t be a teenager.  Sigh.
Last night, Bec had Sammi, and some guy asks me if Sammi is my grand-daughter?  OH NO!!!! Don’t go THERE dude!  Ouch.  I quickly let it go and said, no, that’s my 12 year old, and that’s my 18 month old (which yesterday Sammi turned 18 months… wow.)
Today we went to the local park so the girls could participate in an Easter Egg hunt.  Shabree… the first pass, she only got ONE egg… poor thing.  But then they came out and were tossing out more eggs, so I made sure Shabree got in on that, which she did… thankfully.  Sammi,  lol, the lady through out this one egg, and she about nose-dived for it…she KNEW what she was supposed to do!  Smart kid…she got more eggs than Shabree did the first pass.  We should have gone to a different part of the park, but we didn’t.  They had them sectioned off for different ages, so Jerry took Sammi, and I took Shabree and Syd and Bec just took herself, lol… fine.  Next year, no Easter egg hunts for Bec, she’s getting too old.  She’s NOT going to want to give it up…but there must come a time.
What else?  How did I get such a long entry today?  Gees.  Well, it’s been kind of an active weekend, I suppose.  Already, and tomorrow we still have Easter.
The church that sponsered today’s hunt is moving into the area, down by the school… I am wondering if I should see about a Bible study there, or not.  I think the only way I’m going to stay motivated is if I have something I have to read, and discuss.  Though I’m giving some thought to starting a Yahoo group, calling it the Society of Light, which would be for a total view kind of aspect on Spirituality and why we’re here, and etc…and perhaps doing a Bible study on this yahoo group.  I feel almost a calling to do a new interpretation of the Bible, which I don’t imagine will be met too favorably by some people…. but, I do believe there is something we’re missing, and I want to get a new perspective on it, for which I need people who are, perhaps, a touch more spiritually aware?  Eh, I don’t know…  I am probably too tired to really be able to say what I want to say with any clarity.  Obviously the diary today is just a diary ;).  No great revelations to be had… that’s okay, can’t have them EVERY day.  ;).

Okay, going to wrap up before I seriously begin to ramble, which obviously to me, I’m in danger of doing ;).

I did send you an email with my address, do you need another? Anything scrap actually since I just started really getting into the different types of embellishments and stuff. I have a few scissors, a small cutting mat, an exacto knife, and a couple corner punches. That is it for my tools. I bought a book with different layouts in it and have been trying to find a sketch book or something for more ideas but they are hard to find. I didn’t like the magazines because they had too many ads in them.

I’d like to have an online chat with you about that last paragraph, I just typed something so close to that in another diary you were invited too!
