Got to get me that weight loss ticker… still at 205, but down to point 2, so not bad. I wasn’t going to work out today, then ended up doing over 2 hours!
Most of the day, however, was spent out. The girls were invited to a birthday party, from 2-6, so we dropped them off, then took Sammi and Alex, and went to Wal mart to try and return the Wii, which was an absolute no-go. Darn, I wish mom had thought to include a gift receipt. Oh well, we’re going to put it in the Penny Saver for 200 or best offer, hopefully we get 200 for it. I mean, it’s never been taken out of the box, it’s complete, one would think… after that disaster, we got some shopping done, then went down the road to Hometown Buffet, missed lunch pricing by minutes darn it, had a delicious linner (lunch/dinner) then went to Goodwill which is right down the street from Hometown Buffet in South Sacramento (which was down a ways from the birthday party, so we were staying in the area… we got to go to the JUST built Super Wal mart, which I’d been to once, but Jerry had never been to.) I got myself some CUTE jeans and a black crushed velvet shirt, and I also ended up buying myself a pink sweater, because I actually bought it for Bec, but it’s too bright, and she didn’t want it. When I’d bought it, I thought if she didn’t want it, I’d wear it… I really like the color though I don’t wear much pink anymore. But that black shirt… I thought she wouldn’t like it, but she did… but I told her she couldn’t have it because it was too cute. Anyway, I got her two pink shirts, and Syd 2 pairs of pants, Shabree one pair of pants, Sammi two pairs of pants, and Alex a shirt and a pair of pants. All really cute stuff. Goodwill, for a thrift store, is expensive though. I mean, I paid 6.00 for my jeans. They had t shirts for nearly 5 dollars that you could buy at Walmart NEW for 5 dollars! I mean, Hello. Can we say overpriced? I skipped most of the t shirts, but I found her a couple that were in good shape, not all shrunk up and crappy looking. Syd, I never mean to buy her anything, but I swear, they ALWAYS have the CUTEST clothes in her size, and she and I have simialr tastes, so she always loves what I get her. But I paid nearly 50 bucks for all that stuff. Oh well… my jeans, when I saw them, I said, PLEASE let them be a size 16… and they WERE! I was SO happy. Though I also saw this purple shirt I really wanted, but it was a size small, and there is NO WAY I’ll EVER fit into a small. I’m a big boned girl by nature, and since I hit my teens, I’ve never been below a size 11, in fact, most of my teen years I was a size 13, and I am NOT talking a fat 13, I was slender enough. I just have huge bones. You couldn’t even call me stocky… I never had a flat stomach, but I was NOT fat. Looking back, I looked okay. So being a size small is a pipe dream. I MIGHT hit medium… might. But I won’t count on it. I guess IF I keep up my exercise the way I have been, and get down to 140, which is possible, though if I spent most of my teen years at 150, I’m thinking at the age of 40, 140 is something of a pipe dream too. Though, I never TRIED to get below 150 as a kid… that was just my weight. I guess we’ll see. I think 150 is as good a goal as any.
I FINALLY paid for my DDR DVDs today. Took me long enough. Hopefully they’ll both be here by next Friday. One should be here as early as Tuesday, if they send it Monday. I didn’t pay for it until tonight, so there was no way they could get it in the mail tonight. I probably should not have put off paying for those as long as I did. I’ve GOT to find some way of earning just a LITTLE extra cash, even if it’s only a couple hundred a month. Wish someone would hire me as a scrapbooker, that would be fun. There are just so many little things I’d like to be able to do/buy, but I need an extra 1-200 a month to get. I suppose I could try some of those writing sites, though I’m quite frankly terrified of doing that. Sigh.
It’s midnight. I was going to make this a SHORT entry. But as always, HA on that. Tomorrow, we’ve got to clean out Jerry’s old office, because that’s where the home school room is going. It’s been unused for months now, and is PEFECT for home school. But we got a new couch from Freecycle this week, and stuck the old couch in there, so now we’ve got to figure out what to do with the old couch…it’s too far gone to Freecycle or give away, and the junk pick up week won’t be til November. We’re probably going to put it in the backyard with a tarp over it until November. How… Okie of us. Sigh. Hey, at least it’s the backyard, and NOT the front. God forbid.
Good night.
I didn’t understand why you were getting rid of the WII. I would love to buy one. Also you are planning to homeschool your girls? You have five right?

I loved the Goodwill store that I always used to go to that was by Toy’s house when were were together. But now they just opened one up by me, so that is awesome. Haven’t been there yet though. When I was pregnant I bought a crapload of stuff there that was new with tags cause they would buy Target’s old clearance stuff.

I have to admit that Goodwill is getting a little pricey for their jeans and shirts, so I have been hitting up some of the more no-name places.
