First off… I’m currently sharing a computer with Bec, Syd and Shabree…but it is mostly Bec I am sharing it with, and it is MISERABLE.  Miserable I tell you.  I can think of little else that is hell on earth than having to share a computer with a 15 year old… and perhaps add to it that she is my step daughter… not entirely sure if that has anything to do with it…but it seems to when it comes to me asserting my right to get on the computer.  She gets it more than I do!  Drives me entirely too nuts, truth be told.  If I am on it, and I get off, for WHATEVER reason I have to get off the computer (the kids need me, my job(s) need me, my husband needs me, etc, etc, etc…) she almost always immediately gets on it!  Often without even asking me.  Yesterday I called her on that… and she said "Well, you weren’t using it." or some such, and my answer was that she really just needs to ask if I am done with it.  I replied calmly, and that isn’t what I said, I said "It’s not the same as asking me if you can use the computer" but I can’t really remember what SHE said… so the gist of this entirely too convoluted conversation (LOL) is that she is now asking me if I’m done.  

Partylite… well, to be frank, I’m frustrated, but I’m not supposed to show it ;).  Of course not.  I’m coming around to how negative I’ve become, and I am changing it so I am more positive.  I think I stopped writing in here, for the large part because I had run out of nice things to say about anything and anyone… well, I also just fell out of the habit of it when we were homeschooling.  Which oddly enough, doesn’t even feel like it was just last year.  It was funny, because I was looking at my Facebook profile last night, and realized my "About me" STILL said we were homeschooling… I took it out, and revamped the entire thing.  I’ve quit playing so many games… though Farmville hooked me back into playing, a little.  I had blocked it, and they bribed me with 20 farm cash… I felt like how could I say no?  I’m thinking about blocking it again so they’ll give me even MORE farm cash, lol… I’m getting offers from the Mafia for whatever their fake money is… but I won’t bite there.  I can’t really stand Mafia Wars.  I’m more into Yoville these days, but think maybe my interest in that is even waning a bit.  However, Sammy likes to play it with me, so that can be fun.  Sammy and Alex… light up my life.  Sammy will be starting Kindergarten this year…where has the time GONE???  Sigh.  She’ll be 4 when she starts, but she’s more than ready.  She’s not really spelling anything yet, but she LOVES to type, and I’m always showing her words… I even cut out a bunch of letters out of foam…though I’ve got to remember to take them out and play with them.  The day I made them Alex ripped up an M I had just made… I was SO disappointed.  Lots of work, and she’s ripping them up.  Oh, and Sammy cut, CUT Alex’s hair!!!  It’s as short as Sammy’s now… was SO sad when I realized my baby girl’s long beautiful curly hair was cut.  If you’re not friends with me on Facebook, you should become my friend, I have some good pictures of Alex up from last August, and she’s SO beautiful in them.  

I’m going through changes these days.  Signs are presenting themselves to me…smacking me in the face practically, lol…  makes me LAUGH!!!  I have come back to believing in God…but I don’t know if these signs are from God… I do have spirit guides who send me signs as well.  But I just feel as though good things are around the corner for me… us.  The carpet cleaning business is picking up, we’ve been attending networking meetings, which while there hasn’t been any DIRECT activity from going…seems like it brings good things to us anyway.  MY business is slow going, and all I can say is, I won’t give up… I love the candles too much, lol.  However, it’s not going as well as I might have hoped… not yet anyway.  I know these things take time.  I’m probably relying on Jerry too much.  I am going to have an open house next Friday, and he’s been helping me with the flier, but now it’s on HIS computer, and he’s out doing carpets, so I am kind of stuck on getting them printed and out.  I think I’m going to have to swallow my fear, and actually knock on my neighbor’s doors and TELL them I’m having this thing, invite them over, and maybe get a number I can remind them at.  Honestly, I had hoped to get the fliers out LAST week so people would have a chance to book a party before the end of the month.   I don’t know how that can happen with such short notice, though you never do know…perhaps a catalog party.  I helped my friend Kim get 50 dollars in free candles, and two half price items, and one thing she really wanted on special.  So I was pretty excited about that, though I had her poor head REELING by the time I was done…but she’s going to love her candles, and I know she’s excited about getting them.  Personally, I would love to get my sales up to 1400 so I can at LEAST get my next month’s supplies for free, and some tealights, and I think 100 dollar gift certificate for any product I want!  Now wouldn’t THAT be awesome???  Oh, and I got my business cards the other day, and Jerry bought me a MAGNET for the van!!!!  And I got my website up…it’s http://www.partylite.biz/sweetsarahm.  Yes, I am Sweet Sarah.  It’s a good name for me.  I usually don’t like to burn my candles, but today, I just had to, so I lit some strawberry fields votives I already had lit but don’t really plan on taking to any more shows with me…might, but it’s just a lot to carry in when I take everything, and this was not in my starter kit… I am thinking I’m going to just take the starter kit from now on.  It all fits into two rolling bags I own, and it’s easier not to have to set EVERYTHING up…plus people will see what they will get when they join Partylite (well, assuming they want to join…but the cool, the REALLY cool thing is, it’s free to get your kit…have a party, get 350 dollars in orders, and the kit’s the consultants, to keep forever…) 

I’m starting to get HUNGRY.  Jerry went to Stockton this morning, which was 40 bucks in gas, for a 55 dollar job!  Ouch.  He had another job in Elk Grove today which is a hundred dollar job.  He’s on that now.  He’s getting quite a bit of business, and we got a commercial account…YAY.  It’s cleaning the carpets for Metro PCS stores, we’ve got 6 now, and the guy said that he knows all the owners of these stores and they all need a guy who’s reliable… Jerry is VERY reliable, and very meticulous about his work.  So it’s wonderful, AWESOME even (our carpet cleaning company is awesome carpets…http://www.awesomecarpets.com) to have so much business coming our way!  I’m going to wrap up, and go find Alex… she’s around here somewhere, just don’t know where.
