Within inches of your toaster-oven life

I forgot to mention something yesterday, we got a package of free stuff! Well, we used a gift card we got as a wedding gift… 2 years ago. We got these, and this. The mats are way sturdier than I was expecting, and they kick ass. The measury thing, well that’s just fun. If only it was yellow, would be cooler.

It’s hard to braid your own hair. But I did a pretty decent job today. And then when it left, I looked all rocker. And then brushed, I looked hippie. Mmm… many looks. Jake learned what a french braid is. Dunno why it is french, but who cares.

We watched Walk Hard this evening. That was an enjoyable movie. All full of funnies and catchy songs and things. Goodness. I’m looking forward to seeing Stepbrothers even more now, after seeing that guy’s work. You know that guy, the one who played Dewey Cox.

those look like fun new kitchen toys. flexible cutting boards are nice for easy dumping after dicing 🙂

I have two of those boards and I love them. We have one for chicken and one for veggies. I agree, braiding your hair is difficult.

my favorite part of that movie is when he walks into the bathroom to see the bandmates doing drugs… and when they declare they are 13 when if fact john c. riley is olllllld. hahahaha, i loved it.

Bed Bath and Beyond is fabulous. We need one here. 😐 ryn: It’s the shark I put on the toilet after you and Jake last visited, due to me mis-hearing you lol

I miss being able to braid my hair… I had butt-length hair once and I braided it all the time. And corn-rowed it. Now I can’t even have a pony tail with out a thousand bobby pins. =]

OOOH FREE STUFF! <3 I only like braiding other people’s hair, not my own. I’ve only ever braided my mom’s hair tho ’cause she lets me (even asks me to sometimes) and it’s fun. 🙂 It’s a braid that looks like twisty french bread? Maybe. Who knows! Tell me if Stepbrothers is good. It seems the funnyness. BUTT!! *hugs*

Btw, quick ryn: Papaya IS an awesome word. And an awesome fruit too! Awesome mats. I recently bought a bamboo cutting board for my Mum. I noticed only later it was by that famous Ming Tsai chef dude and she was like “OOOOOOOH!!” and talked about how fancy we are now that we got the chef-type brand cutting board. Hehe. It smells nice, too. mmmm bamboo-y. Reminds me of Chinese food.
