The excitement of things!
Mum left for the airport at about 8pm. By about 9 she called Dad because she was all checked in and had to announce she had been upgraded to premium economy, whatever that means. 🙂 Hopefully it is a comfy upgrade.
All I ever think when I sit down here to write is "those containers need to be gone through, I should do that at some point…" hopefully this week. Natey’s schedule has him working during the hours of sunlight (well… starting at 8 rather than being done around the time I wake up) so there won’t be someone at the computer area all day long so hopefully that will work.
I have so many things I want to do tomorrow. Have to wait for a note now, so maybe I won’t be going shopping tomorrow, but still need christmas presents. And I can use my money now, so that’s even more useful. Mum bought ‘too many’ glacè cherries so she wanted me to make cherry cookies with them. I’m not going to complain about that, every time I make them at home with the merachino cherries (or whatever they are called) they just taste yick and I don’t want any of them. Here, I could (and have) eat the entire bag of glace cherries in one go, so I know they are quality. Also want to make some anzac biscuits, test out the ingredients we have. Mmm… test batch. I figured doing both at once is better than making some tonight and some tomorrow and then being questioned as to why I’m baking again. I doubt I will, but you never know. 🙂
Jake and I are the last ones up tonight. It’s almost like being in our place again, except we have to be quiet and not wake the 3 sleeping males.
Photobucket won’t let me upload things. And I’m out of sorbet. Mmm….. lemon sorbet. But yeah, I found little wedding video snippets in this computer and the silly thing won’t upload them. Or pictures. Ooh, but facebook might!
Hope you are all doing well!
I am doing well, thanks for asking! ;o) What’s the difference between the American and the Aussie cherries? Isn’t it so freaky how you have things where you’re from that are so commonplace and things you take for granted that other people in other places just don’t have? We have pineapple Crush (you know like orange Crush?) here and apparently they don’t have it in other places. It’s reallyquite good.~jo
