That’s what she would have said…
Fruit loops for breakfast, and they cut up my mouth. AND tasted salty. Very very confusing. Tasty though, when they weren’t being salty.
How many days have I been here? Feels like 3 months. In the best way possible.
Yesterday I sorted through many big heavy boxes full of the books that were on my bookshelf. Out of the 5, there is now 1 or 2 to donate, 2 full of school textbooks and notebooks (I LOVED looking at my prep notebooks, they had amusing drawings and then words underneath like "I am standing on top of a hill and I look down and I see the batmobile" or "this is a ladder to the sun. You can go up and clean the sun if you don’t want it to be a hot day" I was pretty awesome when I was 5) and then one final tub that is books I want to keep. That was how I spent yesterday morning while waiting for Natey to come home from work (and then while he was napping seeing as he started work at stupid-o-clock).
Yesterday afternoon we watched a bunch of tv that Natey had recorded, and ate rainbow straws (pixie sticks, basically). The other day when we were shopping for "essential eating things that Sez and Jake need" Natey was staring at the bag of straws so I told him to get them. They were incredibly difficult to open and get the sugar out, so Jake gave up after about 3. I ate 50 (it was a 101 count bag) and then Natey made me help him finish his half. I don’t know WHY we HAD to finish them in one go, but we did. Pretty stupid but fun.
KFC was dinner. Bucket. Well, illusion of bucket. We will get a bucket before we go back to the US. So much food for the 4 or us (the 3 kids and Dad) and I was done with about a mouthful of chicken left. Which used to be how much I would have to feed Headbutt to keep him from trying to eat directly from our plates.
We had sparkling apple juice, because Natey had bought some and left it in my room. I made the ‘mistake’ of showing him this skit from SNL on Monday, so that he would be in on Jake’s and my joke of asking each other "Did you get it?" It was the funniest thing to just have a bottle of it appear in the middle of the room.
Look, I finally worked out how to get my pictures on this computer! This is from the bus at LAX, so all the squiggles are lights from planes and terminals and such. I think it looks pretty amusing.
Last night I hooked up the N64 to Matty’s tv so I could lay in bed and play Goldeneye. That tv is massive. both boys have massive tvs, which seems kinda excessive to me. So yes, playing 15 year old games on giant HD tvs, it slightly hurt my eyes. But then everything is blurry here – this computer screen is blurry, especially when I try to look at the time. When we watch tv in Natey’s room, it is stuff he has downloaded so the quality isn’t fantastic. Not the point. The point is, Natey and I spent an hour or so playing Goldeneye on the easiest level, both of us laughing at my incompetance at that game. It was good though, if I died a few times and got sick of a level, I just made Natey play it and he got through straight away. And for the ones I did manage to do myself, I had a Natey sitting there acting as an interactive guide. Very useful, and it made the game more fun. I’m looking forward to more Goldeneye with Natey.
We have to come up with dinner tonight… I wish I had ideas.
GoldenEye on the N64 was the BEST! I bought the Wii version to relive the good times… and was sadly very disappointed 🙁

My pics turned out like that at the boat parade last year with all the Christmas lights on them, but I love the look of it! It’s coming again in 2 weeks, I think I’ll use the setting again!
