Super-zombies include a foot

We had some very delicious, soft, yummy donuts today. I was unsude if the farmer’s market was ending today or next week, so I made sure we got deliciousness so I wouldn’t be disappointed. The only sign I know of that states the end date is at the post office and I wasn’t going to go all that way just to check the dates out. Not that it is far, A casual walk there and back is about 7 minutes roundtrip. But it was in the wrong direction! I’ll find out… Saturday. Because then there should be a book waiting for me (…us) there. Now that there aren’t Netflix things in the mail most days (or at all) I’m actually kind of scared of the post office. My immigration thing results should be coming through any day now. I have one more week and then the 60 days are up and I’m allowed to call to find out what the status is. It’s scary. So I’m glad there is a book coming, and therefore a reason to go to the post office. I’ve been signing up for lots of free samples of stuff in the last few months too, trying to fill our PO box with surprise treats and therefore make it a happy place. And that is the cheapest way I can think of. And also, we now have sample essence in the cupboard. BAM!

Another good thing is that many months ago we got a thing from Charter saying "just call this number and you can get 6 months free of showtime!" so we used that today, seeing as Dexter is starting on Sunday. And we can catch up on season 2 of Californication now, so that’s even awesomer. It’s very "mmm… free tv"

So, yes. As I was saying, at the farmer’s market today we made sure to get stuff. We got some more delicious jams, but they were just ‘regular’ varieties – strawberry and peach. The guy actually laughed about that for some reason. I was too busy being weirded out at the thought of ‘raspberry chocolate jam’ or ‘apple pie jam’. There were others, but those were the ones that stood out. Possibly because he said those words as they were available for sampling.

We also have fresh raspberries. mmm…. berries.

I’m really loving that all teh good shows are back now. Like last night, kickass NCIS. Followed by boring NCIS spinoff, but we gave it a shot. One of my main problems is the casting. The same reason I don’t like ‘allstar casts’ in movies. I don’t see the people as the characters but as the actors. Or, maybe, as a character they used to play. So seeing Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J I just seem them as THEM not as… whatever their character names were. I think one of them was G? And the other… who knows.

I can’t sit in this seat anymore. Ow. I’m not even 25, I shouldn’t have old pains!
