Simulation of a shark attack

Last night my top right eyelid puffed up. Not hugely, but it felt huge to carry it around, made my eyes very sleepy so I went to bed. This morning it was slightly smaller, still very heavy. Thankfully it’s been going down all day, and seems to be gone now. Was weird and kinda scary, I was a tad worried I was going to wake up and not be able to open my eye or something. Tis a strange reaction that I have never experienced before. I assume it was because of the soap or whatever it was that made my eye suddenly go OW last night in the shower.

Today’s shower time was also painful, I sat on the vanity while Jake washed his hair. I needed to avoid the stench of vinegar, which is barely there when I’m using it but when another uses it, it is overwhelmingly gross. Like when I smell other people’s vegemite sandwiches, that was always gross. Mmm… vegemite.

Anyway, I sat on the vanity, which is just a plank of wood on top of a cute little cabinet full of our stuff. My thigh got pinched between the plank and the white thing, and broke the skin a bit. Very upper back thigh. So I’m glad there is a Jake to put ointment and bandaids on that, would’ve been such a pain to do myself.

We watched the first Spiderman… yesterday. I forgot about that when I wrote the last entry. I had apparently seen the second half before, but never the start. So that was nice, especially as it was raining then. It rained today, and blew the smell of wood smoke into our house. I had to search to make sure the smell wasn’t coming from anywhere inside, and I got weirded out. The smell was only in two rooms, the two rooms on each side of teh kitchen. But not in the kitchen. Very very strange. And now I smell chlorine. Mmm… pools.
