Shortest year I’ve ever had!

Tonight has been relaxing so far. Watching stuff recorded over the last week on the DVR-but-not, and just being lazy. Headbutt came inside (he’s normally out at night, comes in for a drink or soem nibbles and runs straight back out again) to hide from the noise of the sparkly things already going off. Well… they were half hour ago. It’s only 10:30pm, so that’s a good 90 minutes left of the year.

I spent most of today catching up with everybody here. Got up near 10, went out grocerying with mum at some point, but still didn’t finish reading things until after 3pm. And that was with cutting out some. Should really think about cutting that list down a bit, but then I’d miss whoever was taken away.

Natey came home for a little bit, to get clean after working and grab his xbox stuff so he could go have a (I think) non-drinking party at his mate’s house. He’s such entertaining. I should get a picture of the shirt I got him for christmas, it is amusing.

Think I will head back to watching tv with the folks. Hope you all enter into the new year happy and ready for goodness. And having plenty of fun however you are. 🙂

Considering where I live now it is only 6am, this year will be 16 hours shorter than the regular year. Next year will be that much more. But this time, I get to spend the extra-long year with my husband by my side the whole time. Good way to do things, I must admit.
