Rooster-load of baked goods! And babies on water

Today has been awesome. We’ve eaten a lot of not-healthy type foods, but who cares, it was freaking delicious.

We both slept in till 10am. I love waking up and having him still next to me. Tis nice. Plus, he is hella funny when freshly woken. And he always has pillow wrinkles all over his face which amuses me 🙂

We did a quick trip to the post office before midday, hoping my new kakuro book I ordered from amazon was here already. But it’s not. The stupid website said it was shipped wed and should be here by fri (even though they were initially saying 10 days) and it’s not here so now I’m all disappointed. My current book has ONE puzzle left, which will take me all of… well, probably half hour at least, but that’s not 10 days!!

After a few hours of deliberation, we went downstairs for some delicious eats. I had a turkey reuben (and was called ‘cute’ for always ordering the same thing) and Jake had a cheddar cheese patty melt. And there was fries. MMMMMM. Was fun eating there, everyone kept being all "Hi Jake! Hi Sarah!" …we’re mini-celebrities there. Not as bad as the first time I went there, but still, yeah.

We watched some of Pulp Fiction (which comfused me… I need to watch it from the start) and somehow 5 hours had passed and it was time for dinner. So we headed off to San Remo’s for some pizza that we have been craving all week. Just getting dressed for the walk was terribly hot, but once we were outside, all was nice and warm-but-breezy. Stupid place heating up so fast.

Pizza was awesome. Meal was good. Got amused by a call from Jake’s mum asking we bring the mail when we go see them tomorrow. Which was mostly amusing because I was definitely bringing that massive pile of dining-table-overflowage with us. I don’t want it! 🙂

This evening we have made some cookies, more sugar cookies. My turkey didn’t cook all the way through because he was a BIG cookie, and then he snapped in half. So now I have turkey-halves. Jake had a big bear cookie with a teddy bear belly hole. There are pictures but they are still on the camera and that is WAY too much work. Really.

Cookies are awesome. Jake learned that Vicar of Dibley is amusing as. Plus there was lots of animals on the telly, which is always cute and aww worthy.

Title is… well, I didn’t want to say cock-load. And Jake added the babies part, something about doing it on vowels or something? OH! Acrostics. BOW. So he said BOW not VOWel. Ah, makes sense.

Oh! I almost forgot! Today was Jake’s 3rd (or 4th??) time shaving himself… I think 3rd. He did so well, I only had to shave his neck and point out one spot he had missed and a few that weren’t quite complete. Very impressive, I am proud of my hubby. He has really adjusted to his odd vision.

agjsdfhdskljfdskl I WANT FRIES. I haven’t had them in buttages. ;.; With ketchup. mmmmness. Or like they do in Europe with fancy honey mustard or something. You know…I never tried honey mustard before!! I was tempted to buy it last week when I was buying regular mustard. Is honey-mustard better than just the plain yellow stuff? Sez IS cute. 🙂 Vicar of Dibley!! FUNNY STUFF! BUTT!!

RYN: That is a high compliment! Thank you!
