Punc!-tuation…

For a long time, I’ve been seeing these bags of dark chocolate pomegranate balls at Costco. Every time I’ve seen them, I’ve thought how Jake would probably like them a lot, but we hadn’t bought them before. Until a few weeks ago. We opened the bag on the weekend, and I tried one, not expecting to like it (I’m not very fond of dark chocolate.) But ooh…. yum. They remind me a LOT of the flavour of Cherry Ripes, which makes sense, because they are red fruit covered in dark chocolate. I could eat the entire bag at once if I’m not careful. Yumyum. I keep justifying eating handfuls by saying I’ve earned them due to uterine cramps. Mmm, joy.

Nothing much else going on here. Playing lots of pokemon. Took the pokèwalker (a pedometer that you can put a pokemon in) on our walk today. It’s fun, kinda. Amusing definitely. I’ve also been catching up on my favourites. Lately I’ve been overwhelmed by the number of people that update each day, and don’t read everyone. And then teh pile of unread gets bigger and bigger each day. Caught up though. Took all yesterday afternoon and most of this afternoon. I really need to cut down my faves list. The problem is, I’d miss whoever would be removed.

I damaged my finger the other day, dealing with the mass pile of chicken we bought on friday. Basically… I made and popped a blister all at once. Right behind the knuckle on my right index finger. I can bend it without it hurting too much now, so that’s nice. It was annoying to be constantly pointing at stuff for days.

NCIS is being distracting…

I always thought that pomegranates sounded like they’d be REALLY tasty, so one day I broke down and tried some pomegranate juice (like orange juice but… pomegranatey). *makes face* Okay, I won’t be drinking THAT again. Some days my faves list is pretty overwhelming too… I have a small handful of people I read EVERY time they post something, so I get them first. Then, throughout theday, I try to slowly catch up on the others, starting with the people who note me most often. Sometimes I just have to say, “Screw it.” and miss a few posts from the people near the bottom of my list and hope they don’t notice. RYN: “It’s kinda like a really cooked, thick omelette.” Much as I love boiled eggs and scrambled eggs, I never liked omelets. *shrugs* They just never did it for me. ~Shady PS: I still don’t think that ‘omelet’ looks like it’s spelled right… but that’s what the spell-checker says. Hrm, let’s check dictionary.com to find out: Oh, look at that, it can be spelled ‘omelet’ OR ‘omelette’! You just got PUNKED, spell-checker! That’s what you get for trying to confuse me with your red squiggles! *evil laughter*

I actually wish I had more people on my faves that updated regularly to save me from my boredom during the day. I can see how it would become overwhelming, though.

I was being distracted by NCIS during my entry. LOL @ sameness. My pokewalker needs a battery then I’ll watt it up hardcore on the treadmill. It’s the only way to get a flying Pikachu apparently

I have a few people on my fav list that I let build up so I will have something to read on my slow days. Is that evil? Maybe.

I do the same thing with shady, I’m always sad when someone deletes me because I love the feedback i get on my entries, but i think the real life gets in the way. I treid those choclates too I didn’t think I’d like em either but YUMMY

RYN: “Omelette/omelet has always weirded me out. The first one looks too fancy and the second one looks too short.” I don’t think I’d even SEEN the second one until spell-check spit it out the other day… I learned it the first way. *shrugs* “I’m a little afraid to try pomegranate juice. When I first came to this country, I liked the sound of grapefruit so I bought some grapefruit juice. Ew ew. I had NO IDEA what grapefruit actually was.” Pomegranate juice is nowhere NEAR as nasty as grapefruit juice. *shudders* I somewhat dislike Pomegranate Juice… I HATE grapefruit juice! The only ‘grapefruit’ product I like is a soda called Squirt because they sweeten it up a lot and it’s fantastic, just the right balance of sweet and tart. Anything else… no thanks! 🙂 ~Shady

I totally long entreed today. Stupid lack of wifi. I didn’t know you needed that! I wasn’t too sure of the details, just that someone pointed out that Flying Pikachu were on the Pokewalker and I played to investigate further later. Total shame. J got me a really snazzy box of chocolates recently and they were all different desserts. They were awesome. I love pomegranate to the max, I miss c.ripes

*planned. I miss cherry ripes, I took a lot od things for granted and now it’s all different. stupid food difference. Like Dim Sims for some reason I really want one of those these days. And Milo… or even how my Mum makes a certain something. Ah, depressing. But the dark choc and pom sounds like a terrys choc orange cept with pomegranates. Oh btw I’m noting you twice, did you notice?

ryn: I got gum on my bum in Youghal, there’s a photo I am yet to post of me sitting there blissfully unaware I sat in gross. And my pants were black like school pants and as soon as it happened I was reminded of how funny I think it is when it isn’t me. And rabbit poos, I always point and yell at M and Ms for that reason.

It struck me as hilarious that you said you ‘damaged’ rather than injured your finger. Like your finger is something not living. Heh. ~jo
