Precarious Present Pile

Today was a dark day, hence the attack o’ flash. I should have also taken a picture of our card-wall, it skyrocketed from 2 to 7 today. Massive improvement. That’s what happens when you can’t/don’t get to the post office for a week.

This afternoon when Jake came home, I felt like a dog, knowing it was time for my walk. I was so excited. The remnants of the snow were slightly softer so I could kick it. That was awesome. I love kicking snow. It’s like kicking a pile of leaves, only cold. And shiny.

We had delicious curry burgers with spice for dinner tonight and mmm they were yum. With an egg on top. I forgot the cheese though. But still so good. And now I have more snack-cheese. I love snacking on slices of cheese. Tis tasty.

I got an email on Saturday, saying I will get another email "early next week" to give me the tracking number for a package. Early in the week… that’s gone now. Wednesday is just… the week. Not early. Frustrating. Except that I don’t really care when it gets here, just that it does.

Still can’t burn cds. Silly computer. For years it refused to burn anything, and then it fixed. And now I guess it is back to refusing forever. Mildly irritating, but meh, what can you do. Even with that, and the fact that only one of the speaker slots in the back work (I thought we had busted speakers, so we got new ones. Only one works still!) we are in no hurry to get a new computer. It’ll happen eventually.
