Please, try the bacon

It rained, almost non-stop, for 2 days. Today, it has been snowing all day. Just light flurries, so it is more to enjoy the falling of the snow rather than the build-up on the ground. I love snow and rain, but snow is so much easier to go for walks in. You don’t get so drowned. I have no problems with snowflakes landing all over my face and on my eyelashes as I walk.

Went to the post office, where I have been wanting to go since Tuesday. I knew there was a package waiting for me. Even though it is only a 5 minute walk, in the rain we had been having the cardboard box would have gotten kinda drowned and I didn’t want that. So I waited till today.

Now I have milo again (!! Haven’t had any since early January. Yums) and Jake has more awesome dishgloves. Our awesome red biscuit tin is full of mini-crunchies and creme eggs… minus one. I had to eat one of the creme eggs, the wrapper was all sticky so I couldn’t let that hang out with the other ones and potentially make everything gross and sticky. And I also got an assorted yayness of musk flavoured candy, so now my candy jar is full of all those delicious tasty pink things. Love it.

Look at the mass quantity of stamps!!! I much prefer the overly-stamped look to what normally comes on the box, just a little print-out thing saying how much postage was. This is pretty. It’s kinda like wrapping paper but not. Rather amusing.

Last night, while preparing ingredients for the awesome delicious spicy sweet potato soup we had for dinner, I managed to semi-cut/semi-stab myself. 3 times, on 3 different fingers. Although one of them only hit the white part of the nail, so that didn’t really count I guess. I always end up harming myself when I have to chop for ‘long’ periods of time. I stop paying attention or something. Either way, fun.

I wanted to go to Post Office to pick up stuff once but folks said that we have to wait until the mail comes to our place. All the stamps look cool. Milo sounds good. Need to have. I don’t know why I haven’t thought of buying it online. To net! I think I found it on Amazon. It’s got a green lid? Ow poor fingers Mmm potato soup

And it looks way more awesome if you happen to be a scrapbooker and want to put a piece of the box/wrapping into a scrapbook.

looks cool all stampy. I came on OD my usual way (which is clicking on your bran loaf entry I have bookmarked) and then wandered about randomly clicking on things and “discovered” the trainstalking chapter, so there I was hanging out reading it and suddenly I burst into tears. I’m so sad and those fun Sez times are past and that’s balls when I think of it too much. blarg.
