Pistacchio monterey

I am so deliciously warm right now. No thanks to our heater, which did not heat anything today. The bastard. We put it on for the first time and it did nothing. Will have to get Russ up to show us what we are ding wrong (or to see if there is something wrong).

But year. Two layers of clothes and 2 blankets makes for a load of warm awesome.

We got a postcard today from Jenn and James. They did a honeymoon thing in oz and we got words about it 🙂 I also got an awesome package of awesome things from my mum. A bunch of candy (not so much funsize this time, so ouur candy bowl isn’t overflowing) and some milo (such good timing, I would’ve run out tomorrow!) and some things wrapped in jelly bean gift wrap. My mum knows me 🙂 I got a bunch of cookbooks, 3 dessert related and one with meals. I found something that I want to make up tomorrow, called ‘thai style garlic chicken’ which is perfect because I needed something to use up the rest of the garlic. Woo, ideas!

Last week we got samples of stuff with our peapod order. One of them was a little bag of dried cheese tortellini. We had that for dinner tonight with some fresh tortellini we got from the store, chicken and prosciutto. Mmm… yumful.

I think it is time to use the stove to make hot milk, and then to flavor it with awesome. And then to read faves.

Also, it is funny because they are monkeys.
