Paper face!

Today was a pretty good day. I woke up at 10am, but stayed in bed for a bit longer coz I didn’t want to disturb Jake (if I get out of bed with the intention of s taying out of bed, he will wake up at that moment) and then I went to shower away the sleepy grime. mmm sleep-grime, how gross that sounds!

After the shower I spent about 15 minutes trying to stop feeling dizzy and sick (problem with standing still in the shower without eating – I get WEAK!) and then I got dressed and even had breakfast!

We headed off to the mall, stopping at the post office on the way to get my socks that came. Yay socks! They are so pretty. I haven’t tried them on yet, but they are pretty. Oh yes.

Once at the mall, I mocked all the people waiting for parks near the entrance, drove up a little bit and tada there were 50000000 empty spots. But noone wanted to be THAT far away from the door, I mean it took a whole… 2 minutes maybe to get inside! Oh no! Lazy people. We had less of a walk than if we parked at the far end of the Greensie carpark. Crazy.

Anyways, we grabbed some pretzel bites (accidentally getting plain salty gross ones instead of cinnamon ones (mmmm cinnamon)) and stopped off at EB so Jake could find something to spend the gift cards on. He did, and  he’s playing it now. Baseball game! And we found out that the 2 gift cards we have, have $25 on each, rather than the 20 we thought it was, so bonus $10, woo! That’s always a good thing to know. And then we headed upstairs (the movies are right above EB pretty much) bought tickets (no line WOO) and got a coke so I could wash down the saltyness, and then waited about 2 minutes and the movie was on. Was great timing. But I’m awesome like that. And with just about every preview, Jake was all "ooh! Must see!" Although I was like that for the first one. It was about Santa hanging out with his brother Fred. Or something. The preview was pretty hilarious.

The movie was pretty good. TMNT. It was one of those movies that even if you weren’t ooh must see, if you have to see it, its good. You know what I mean. So yeah, good time.

After the movie we wandered around the mall a bit, went to Sears in search of a specific clothing item, but they had totally rearranged everything, so the ‘old lady’ clothes were where the clothes I would want used to be, and I couldn’t find anything else and it was just… poo. Nuts to them though, really.

We got the final part of Jenn’s present too. It’s a rubber chicken, but you squeeze it, and when you let it go so the air goes back in… it screams! So all afternoon I’ve been singing "screaming rubber chicken!" heh

Then we went to JC Penney to get Jake a new wedding ring. We picked the best time ever to go, coz the ring he got (pretty much identical to what he had before) was 60% off! Mega giant score! That took a really long time once all was done, so we got to Bertucci’s at 3pm on the dot, so I couldn’t have a sandwich from the lunch menu. Stupid ring ladies taking forever. I wanted a sammich! Oh well. I had ravioli, filled with cheese that I then squooshed out and replaced with sauce. And it was still too cheesy. Was yargh.

Plus, there was something that Jake and I ate that made both our insides rather… bubbly. Not too good. I just ate some minie oreos and it made the bubbles return. Yargh.

This evening has been a relaxing one. So that’s always awesome. I’ve been making Jake laugh with my uber-cuteness, even though I thought  I was just being normal. funny, but normal. Anyways, it aws funny. I don’t even know what we were saying, which is a pity.

Title: Something I called Jake whilst at ‘dinner’. I don’t know why, but it was pretty funny so yay for that.

Boo to Sears. I don’t think I’ll go see TMNT. Then again, I never go to the cinema, so that statement was kind of pointless. ryn: I completely forgot about the Gretel thing! I should go back to calling myself Gretel, it amused me greatly. I find I write better/longer when I’m listening to music and writing down what I’m listening to, because I tell my brain/fingers to ramble until the song finishes. Then if hte next song is one I really like, I’ll do it again. Makes it seem less like work, and I’m more likely to refrain from being cryptic, because I’m too busy listening to music to actually think. When I think, I decide I don’t want to write. Yay non-brain!

ryn: Yes, I was/am listening to music. It’s kind of obvious. I don’t want to be a gay cowboy. So I’ll stick with Candito, at least it’s cool being a Space Bandito. Or THE Space Bandito. I got curious and read some of the really old notes I left… Oh dear god, I miss being that random. I kept laughing and going “What the f’ck, Candice?” lol. Good times.
