Once again, 7-man protection.

I’m so amused by some of the notes on the previous entry. I referred to baby as Baby A because she is the first, but also because her name starts with an A. If she was a boy, his name would’ve started with an A. We didn’t do that on purpose, it just worked out that way, which amuses me.

Speaking of baby, she’s been stretching out a lot today. Mostly with pressure on me on my lower right side, but occasionally she’d move around and kick me in the back. Bending in any way has been difficult and uncomfortable, but I love knowing exactly why. At the first of the recent ultrasounds, I had a pain on my lower left side, and when the tech moved over there BAM there was a foot. Jake is awesome, he’s been taking care of me today, doing things that involve lower shelves or anything like that. He did the dishes as well, because he is kickass. He has fetched me beverages, and layers of warm clothes (even though outside was lovely today, inside has been very very cold. This place is silly, in summer it gets ridiculously hot even when outside isn’t, and in winter it gets way colder than outside. Not fair!)

This weekend has been a lovely, super relaxing, nothing weekend. Our weekend errands work on a 3-week rotation: Big grocery shop and trip to the barber, laundry, nothing. The previous nothing weekend we had to do laundry and clean the apartment in preparation for Mum’s visit, the one before that was while Ellen was here, so that means it was mid-August last time we had nothing to do. So we have really been enjoying it. Yesterday we spent all day on the couch, watching dvr’d things. I’m sure we did other things, but they were just as lazy. Either that, or I fell asleep on the couch. It doesn’t feel like we spent all day on the couch. OH! We went downstairs to eat! Heh. It had been ages since we’d seen Mel and Kerry, even though they work downstairs every weekend. So we went down to eat and see them. Love those girls. So that’s why the day doesn’t feel like one big block! Today we went grocery shopping – we needed a few things, mostly things to make chili for dinner. Mmmmmmmm, chili. I feel like we have been eating that a lot lately, but it is delicious and loaded with veggies and beans, so it’s goodness too.

Did you know we live in an incredibly trusting, probably very safe town? On Thursday, we took my car for a service. When we went to pick it up, they didn’t give me the keys back, but rather said "they’re in the car" …the car that was around the side of the building, not visible from the garage. It’s nice to be in a town that is that trusting in it’s residents, but it is freaky and weird to me.

Jake is watching the Bears play (and kick ass), football noises are distracting even though I don’t really care. They do provide nonsense titles though, which is good for a brain that can’t think words.

I wish I could have day naps sometimes now. As much as I don’t miss how tiring pregnancy can be, I miss the ability to choose when to or not to sleep! Lol at the bending over discomfort, just wait until you practically have to do the limbo to pick something up off the floor 😛

Pretty good random title. Thanks, football!

Most car places leave the keys in the car. I hate it but it seems the way to go. I’m glad you had a nothing weekend. They are good for recharging the batteries. *hugs*

Rhea used to kick me in the lower right side too. It’s so cool to think that she used to be inside me. I can’t wait until Baby A is on the outside and we can see what she looks like. :o) Can I make a name guess? I don’t expect you to say yay or nay, but I want my guess recorded to see if I’m right in the end. My guess is Ainsley. ~jo

RYN: But a number brain is rarer and more special!

^ Ainsley is SUPER adorable, p.s. (Also, Ashley, but you know. I’m just slightly partial)
