Near-sighted bison on a flavour stampede

My legs ache. My hip aches. Stupid left hip, always hurting when I do stuff. I had to get Jake to drag me home this afternoon. I could do the lifting-legs part of walking, but I couldn’t do the forward-motion part, it hurt too much. And we had to get home. If he could drive, I would’ve just sat down and made him walk home and drive back to pick me up. I huurt.

It’s my own fault though.

The internet bammed out today, and so I took advantage of the lack (I have trouble avoiding the internet when it is rightthere, even if there is nothing I want to do I get distracted easy) and cleaned the apartment. Mopped the bedroom, which had never been done. Had to take advantage of the bed still not being in there. It will be going back in a week or so though. I’ll miss having a bed in the lounge room, it is so nice to watch the simpsons right before bed, with the lights out and all that. And then just turn off the funny and fall asleep. Lovely.

I went to mop the kitchen, and noticed that our little wheelie thing with shelves had been leaving black lines all over the floor. I have no idea how I hadn’t spotted them before, they were pretty obvious. Covered all the lines in baking soda, and then had fun crawling around scrubbing all the badness away. Only problem is… now there are stripes of VERYCLEAN all over the kitchen. Stupid floor will never be perfectly clean. I hate it.

I took this picture for my Amrai. For dinner tonight, we copied the delicious turkey BLT wraps we get from the store next door. They feature cranberry mayo. That is what this pink glob is. Tastytasty. I love the colour, it looks like icecream. I forgot to take a picture of the food when all done, because it was so tasty and then it got eaten. Ah well. We will be doing it again, so good. Much cheaper too.

Yay at picture. Must be the time or something but when I saw it I thought of Ditto and Strawberry ice cream although it is clearly pink mayo made of awesome. 😀

That mayonnaise doesn’t look like it should belong on that tortilla! Sucks about your hip. I’ve had problems with my right hip and I never want to go through that pain again! Hope yours is better soon!

Such a pink colour looks amazingly wrong for a savoury meal. Ok for desert; as you say, it looks like ice cream. Hope your hip is soon back to normal.

Interesting! I thought the pink glob was cake icing, and I was wondering why you’d want that on a wrap, lol. We have laminate wood flooring in our kitchen and you wouldn’t believe the nasty pile of yuck I sweep up, but it disguises it so well! I haven’t mopped since we’ve put it down, so I should probably get on that!

I love flavored mayo. I once went crazy on a kitchen floor because of paint drips.

floor!! We sometimes get black marks on our laundry room floor, but that’s from when I wear my big black b00ts. Try looking up ‘how to remove white marks of baking soda’ or something.
