My feet, they just keep on moving…

My legs ache. Not as much as my left arm though, I don’t know quite what I did today but I feel like I strained my arm muscle up near my shoulder. Jake, as he always does, laughs at me when I complain that I hurt. He’s a butthead like that, he says it is because I am so cute that he can’t help but giggle. I think he is just cruel. But then I laugh at his giggling and it all works out well. (*edit* I worked out how I messed up my arm. It’s from when I "palmed the giant box of mini wheats" at costco, as Jake put it. Just doing the hand action for picking up the box hurts my near-shoulder muscles, so it makes sense! But not really.. because that’s weird… *end edit*)

So what have I been doing the last few days…

(I love facebook, it’s so easy to find out what I’ve been doing when I forget)

On Thursday, I bought christmas presents online for almost everyone. I have my two brothers to get things for, but that possibly won’t happen until I’m down home. There’s Dad, but that’s not something I can get early. And Jake… but he doesn’t count. I could get him boxes of cereal as a gift and he will love it. (I did that for his birthday a few years ago, but it was special cereal that he really liked but they stopped selling at every store around us. So I had to go on a special trip to get it, so therefore was present worthy. I think there was also a cd involved in that gift, but still….) Getting everyone the same gift made shopping really easy.

We also ate the rest of the donuts on Thursday. And then fell asleep in front of a doomsday prediction show on the history channel. The guy that played the anti-christ in that show was so hilarious, the way he evilly smirked at the camera… I still crack up thinking about it.

Yesterday shall be known as magic day. I mentioned 3 entries ago that my phone is dying, and has been for some time. It stopped allowing me to recieve calls, which is kind of necessary for a phone. Not quite as necessary as the ability to MAKE calls, but close. Yesterday, I got a call while we were on our afternoon walk. Very surprising. And all the ringtones and alarm tones and the vibration and things that haven’t been working for weeks, all started working perfectly again yesterday.

If that isn’t enough magic, we got home and had a shower. Since THE DAY WE MOVED IN more than 2 years ago, our shower has been kinda stuffed up. The tap that shifts the water from the shower head to the main tap and back was busted, so the best we could do was make the water come out of both 50-50. Yesterday I touched the tap and it moved, and now ALL THE WATER COMES OUT OF THE SHOWER HEAD! It is amazing and weird and we aren’t used to it yet. There is no noise like you are filling up a bath every time we shower! We don’t end up standing almost ankle-deep in water! There is actual PRESSURE associated with the water hitting us from the shower head!! MAGIC, I TELL YOU! I love it so much.

We also had turkey wraps from the local store that needed to pictorially show us what was in our sandwich. I love that sticker.

Today… laundry, costco… and the mall. We returned a GPS charger we bought recently (I already had all the parts, but I had forgotten because I am that silly), we had a delicious spicy sandwich from Subway, and then we went on the ‘hunt’ for anniversary gifts for each other. Went to the phone store so I could fiddle with the phones I couldn’t choose between online. Turns out the one I like the best is the purple one. Score, I’m getting a purple phone! (in a few days, had to order it online because the store didn’t have it.) I was going to get some clothes-type things as well, but the only store that sells what I want only had ugly colours because they suck. Jake got the new Metroid game, which he has been playing all afternoon. It has a lot of story and talking so he is playing with sound. I hate playing games with sound, so I have loud music in my ears blocking it out. Mmm, tunes.

I don’t know what the rest of the weekend will be like, but I imagine it will be a lot of lazing about watching dvr’d episodes of The Late Late Show. I love that show, but we’ve been slack. We’re still almost a whole month behind. Although that does mean we get to see lots of fun all at once. Like this. You should click that link and watch, at least up until 1:48. It made us laugh so much.

hahaha, my sister and brother in law moved into a house a year ago and the water pressure was almost non-existent..then my BIL’s dad came to visit and found that the source of the non-existent water pressure was a clogged filter. That was it. All they had to do was replace the filter and VOILA! Water pressure! They felt kind of silly after that, but hey, at least the problem was solved. 😉

ryn: Yep am. It wasn’t that bad though. I got to talk to Spicy for a few hours. Then afterwords I was bored.

I love magic day and I am so happy your guys had one!! Hmm….I will pass on putting a face on my food. If I can just eat the meat as meat I am fine, but put a face (or name, long story) on it and I’m done.

Sez has the Midas touch of SHOWERFIXINZ’. Aren’t you awesome? XD My old shower used to be like that! Sadly though I do not have the epic Sezmidas Touch of Showerfixinz, and we had to buy a new showerhead entirely. But it’s all good because this is a new handheld massage-y shower thing that you can both hold AND mount onto the wall, so FWEEEEE. 8DDD
