My broccoli tastes like fish!!

Second day in a row of going out to eat for breakfast/lunch AND dinner. Second day in a row of spending all day with my mother and my mother in law. 2 very awesome days.

This morning Mum and I went for a bit of a walk. We went to check out the glacial kettle that is behind the post office. Unfortunately, it was covered in very long gras so it didn’t look as cool as it should. Was still a nice walk, was lovely to be able to be outside and not be hot! Today was such perfect weather, no humidity making it feel like the world is a giant sweaty armpit, just so nice.

Breakfast time was just after 11 again, with Jake Lisa and Michelle. And Mum of course. The star. The reason we were all eating there. I had pancakes. Mmm. Michelle got a turkey reuben and I was just staring at it, it looked so delicious and I wanted to steal it. Good thing she was on the furthest part of the table from me, or I might have.

This was my attempt of us ‘posing in the sunshine’ ….man I suck at guessing where there is light. And apparently I have no arms, or maybe a creepy half-arm that even had a hand.

The afternoon was spent out and about with my two mothers. We went to the health food store again, where I got some maple candy (YUMMM!) and then we headed to Staples where I got some owl stickers and the weirdest pen ever. We searched for some shorts for me, but they all were either ugly or had impossible buttons. We went to Kmart where I got more of those awesome peppermint patty faux-m&ms.

For dinner, we met up with Michelle again, as well as Jake’s brother Nick and his wife Stacy. We went to Olive Garden, which I have only been to once before and didn’t have a good experience. Tonight’s food was rather tasty – apricot chicken. But my broccoli… well the title says it all. Jake tried it, Nick tried it, all 3 of us agreed. It tasted like fish. Very weird. Made me laugh when Nick said "if it makes you feel any better, someone here is probably saying ‘my fish tastes like broccoli!’"

And oh, those breadsticks are dangerous. I feel like I ate enough that I may morph into a breadstick overnight.

After dinner we went to the tattoo place to see about getting our tattoos done. The guy was all booked up for the night though, so that didn’t happen. I think Nick will be organising a better deal with someone he actually knows… so… that shall be good. I was all ready to get inked tonight though, but it’ll happen eventually. And then I’ll get another one, which I rather want on my ribs but I imagine that would be stupidly painful there.

I am so thirsty!!

Tattoo on the ribs = super painful. Tattoo on the shin = super painful too. Avoid areas where it’s direct bone. 🙂

I love how your mum and you look alike =). You can tell you’re related. I love that in families. My family looks like we could be total strangers – no resemblances at all!

That’s so WEIRD to have fishy veggies, ewww! I hear lots of good things about Olive Garden, but I’ve never been. I wanna go for the soup salad and bread sticks sometime.
