Majorly protected, and getting a number
I’m so used to getting up and doing the puter thing first thing in the ‘morning’, so today was very weird coz I didn’t get a chance to do things until 7pm!
I woke up at 11:30am to my stupid phone alarm, tried to go back to sleep but had a giant nervous knot in my stomach. I hate going out, especially without Jake. And especially to places I’m not too familiar with. But ah well. I downed my yummy breakfast juce and finished just as Lisa got home, so I speed-dressed and we went off on our excursion.
Got to the Social Security place at about 1, and there were only a few other people in there, and they were all part of the group that was getting served at that time. So there was no waiting. After having the lady apparently say it was our #s turn (I only heard the number after, and that was a whisper! And the board thing with the number written on it? Is tiny and dull and hard to see) Lisa did her thing and we got helped, and the lady was chewing her gum so loud she couldn’t hear me. But all was good, after they changed my address, and then changed my name because they misspelled it… and we were out of there by 1:30. WOO!
And then we headed to Planned Parenthood where I got as much birth control as I could afford. Now I don’t have to go back for 8 months, woo for that too.
We came back to this lovely town and had lunch at San Remo’s. I ordered an open faced turkey sandwich, nto knowing that that meant it would be drowned in gravy – gravy is gross. Lisa realised once the food showed up, so that was good coz she explained why it was wrong and I got a turkey sandwich with lettuce and tomato… I was only having lunch coz I didn’t wanna just sit there watching her eat, I wasn’t hungry. But ah well. We talked about lots of stuff that ended up in me crying… not that that’s a hard thing to do, especially coz I had been on the verge of tears almost all day coz of the stress of stuff.
We came home for a minute, I emptied out my bag of mass pill-age and had a quick super-cry while doing so to get it out of my system, and it worked. Then we headed over to some store that has a lot of weird little… things in it. Lots of decorations for every occasion, and there were pink/pretty painted hammers and screwdrivers, which made me laugh. Once we were bored of that we headed over to the Split Rail to wait for Jakey to finish work. It took him a few minutes to realise we were there, which was cute coz his surprised "hey that’s my wife!" face was just adorable! Was cool watching him cook up the bacon and do his job… so cool.
I just shook the keyboard upsidedown to clean out all the stuff in it (mostly dorito crumbs… lol) and now some of the keys feel weird. Must’ve shaken stuff under them.
Once Jake was done we went to get him shaved, and did the grocery thing that cost way too much money even though I cut stuff off the list – that’s the bad part of having the list right here all week for us to add to… and why couldn’t I find baked beans? Or white vinegar? Weird confusing supermarket that sucks.
And sushi was dinner, but I couldn’t eat all of it coz lunch was still majorly in my tummy. Juice was good though.
My scalp hurts. Why, I have no idea. It’s just the right side, has been all day, and I keep gently touching it to see if it has gotten any better… it hasn’t. grrr at you, head.
Hey look, its a long entry! Guess I just have to DO STUFF to write more.
*edit* I just punched a mosquito that was on the desk… and I killed it and it stuck to my fist, but it wasn’t squished. Really a bit WHAT THE?! And then as I sat down to write this, another bug landed on my tummy.. but I don’t know if that went squish.
The only things that are allowed to be in my bedroom are me and my husband. Bugs/spiders/etc… you go die!
yay! you did stuff. Did u drink water 😉 I’m impressed with the amount of contraceptives you have now. I have to get mine on a one-after-other basis, which sucks. And they aren’t sugar coated like the ones in Oz so they chalk up in your mouth. which also sucks. J promised me a sushi expedition tmoro 😀 😀 ryn: the fish? yeah. amused me no end coz they actually are. Someone stole our joke LOL

Yeah, I learnt the hard way once, not to order an open-faced sammich. *shudders*

Hurty scalp (neuralgia) often goes with other migraine symptoms. Look after yourself. You are probably reacting to the stress of the day. *big huggles*

ryn: Nah, I’ve been scheming a diary makeover for a few weeks, wanting to make it vaguely more like my Myspace. However, I couldn’t find a decent image to use in my sidebar, so I just went with the boring scheme I have now. I’ll probably switch back to the layout I’m “famous for” in a week or so. Even though I’ve been gradually changing it for the past week and a half. The white background took some getting used to. :/
