Like an incredbily low-tech banana condom

We are down to the single digit hours. Amazing. Time for the hardest, longest part of the blogathon though.

Have I told you about my set-up right now? I’m sitting in the middle of the couch, with the ottoman between me and the desk. I can comfortably rest my feet on the front of the desk, which I am always doing. I have the keyboard on my lap, the mouse on the hardest-cover book we have (good eats – the early years). I’ve got my camera and phone and SD-USB-card-reader thing on my left, and two soft couch pillow on my right. I have to move the keyboard and mouse cords in order to stand up and not trip over. I have hte computer chair next to the desk, and a dining table chair next to that (that is what I initially had the mouse on, but he surface isn’t flat so it was too difficult to use).I have a blanket to my left, not for use as a blanket, but so I can place food somethings there and use the blanket to help keep it stable. That’s what I did when I had the big bowl of salsa next to me.

Jake is watching the end of the final Matrix movie. I imagine he will go to bed at about 1am.

I desperately want mashed potatoes, and have for a few hours now. I’m totally not hungry though. I may end up having mashed potatoes for breakfast. That would be so good. Oh… man. SEriously. I want them SO MUCH. I wouldn’t want tehm so much if I didn’t have potatoes sitting in the kitchen wanting to be eaten.

I can’t believe it is almost August.
