lamp-head monkey-shoulder

I’m not sure if it is because of the alternating light-dark backgrounds of the favourites I just read, or if it is because I’ve generally been feeling a bit off today.

But man I am dizzy. Not necessarily spinny-dizzy, but my head feels… odd.

I’m sitting here, massively rugged up (I love wearing multiple layers of squishy comfort, it’s like being in a perma-hug!) with my lovely stripey fingerless gloves. And every time I look down at my hands, I giggle inwardly, because there is a pea soup coloured monkey on my lap. Contrasts well with the stripey purple and black. He kept falling off the scanner – which is his home for the moment – so there is a monkey in my lap. Because nuts to tossing him onto the couch. I might get proper-dizzy if I swirl around on this seat.

I was all "meh, CSI is on at 9?" but I just realised that we actually can’t watch it tonight. Because they have been doing a massive crossover episode pile with all the CSIs and we haven’t watched those yet, so why watch the conclusion first? mmm…. reason to do other stuff. And then I giggled again at my note to Jenn, which called them ginger bitch and astronaut voice. And fish, but I didn’t put that in the note. Ah, nicknames, I love stealing them.

I was trying to write up a thanksgiving-related grocery list earlier, and… I don’t want to do this anymore. The only part of ‘hosting’ it this year that I am looking forward to is not having to travel anywhere. And maybe using my pie bird. Poor pie bird has been living in it’s box for years, I bought it purely because it was amusing.

I have this in my head. Which is 5 million times better than the thing that was in there this morning when I woke up. I must’ve been listening to crappy radio in my dreams.
