Jurassic-tastic circumfersaurus

We had soup for dinner. Roasted eggplant, sweet potatoes, and broccoli. With veggie and chicken broth and a can of tomatoes and a spoon of curry paste. And garlic. Was VERY yummy. Very thick too, because we used our stick blender and homogenised it. Mmm…. Now there is 2 kinds of soup in the fridge, as Jake brought a cup of split pea soup up for me this morning.

Jake called our internet and phone peoples and now i’m on the bill too. So now that he’s done that, I’m onto a purely waiting game. Tomorrow we’re getting a lease thing from Russ so there will be documented proof that we live here and pay rent. Have to wait for bills to show up with my name on it. I’ve done everything I can for now. And even that is scary, because it seems like so little.

We watched Shaun of the Dead this evening. I knew I had watched it before, but I had started it and then had to take Natey to Claire’s place and came back and it was in thick action so I stopped watching. But I pretty much picked up the whole everything from that. Still enjoyable though. Slow zombies are good entertaining zombies. Fast zombies are scary zombies.

A small drop of soup jumped out of the pot when I was blending it earlier and now I have a little burn dot on the side of my hand. Stupid madly hot food stuff. Nothing like my initiation into hardcore baking though. Also known as my bonding experience with my oven. Mmm…. banana bread.

Shaun of the dean is so funny 🙂 Especially when they don’t even realise what’s going on and then their great plan is “Go to the Winchester” 🙂

Michael has died. He was seriously ill for a while now apparently…the poor, poor man and his poor family, friends and fans. The world has lost a very unique talent. Such a loss.
