It’s the random-fact train ***LONG***

This is what I do when I get bored. I ramble. And what better topic of ramble is there than me? =D

I don’t remember who I yoinked this idea from. And a bunch of the aren’t necessarily about me. But that’s not the point!

ENJOY!!!

 

Take the last two digits of the year you were born and list that many facts about yourself.
1984

1. Everyone always measured me as 173cm, until I went to the doctors and he measured me as 169cm. Now its always 170. I shrank?!

2. I never fill these out in order. I’ll go #20, #3, #47, #1… or something. I’m random and don’t like to keep my thought processes in order.

3. I have 10 pairs of knee-high stripey socks. Only 7 of those are toe socks. My favourite pair varies from day to day, but my ultimate pair are the ones pictured. I bought them for my 20th birthday. They have holes in them now. I’m so pouty!!

4. I can’t sleep with my ankles crossed.

5. I do not sit properly. I’m always all curled up with my chin on my knees as I sit at this comp. Sitting ‘normally’ strains my back after a little while.

6. I get very sore elbows from doing not much, they’ve been like that since I started working. Mass turning my wrists/elbows when envelope stuffing has bammed me a tad.

7. I am a Sez-kitty-hippopotemu with bats for eyelashes. At least, that’s what Squidy reckons. But then he is a Squid-puppy-bear…amongst other things.

8. The lip gloss sitting next to me has no label, but I believe it is ‘candy cane’ flavoured. Mmm… its like putting clear toothpaste on your lips. ZING!

9. Stay perfectly still, only I may dance.

10. One of the things I treasure most about my friendships with people is the utter randomness of the conversations we have. I miss them a lot so when one comes along I soak it all in. It’s what keeps me insane!!!

11. I’m so grateful the convos with Cam have gone full circle, and are now back to the awesome random many hours long nothingness that they used to be early early last year, when we were new friends.

12. I name things. My car is Hoju. My computer is Puree. My purple swirly sticks is Larry. My elephant figurine is Nelson. My cape is Flyshmambular. Ok, I just made that last one up now.

13. I know more random useless facts than you can poke a stick at.

14. I’m ticklish everywhere. It’s been tested and proven. EVERYWHERE.

15. I’m having difficulty doing this because I keep singing along and grooving to every song that is playing. And then start giggling coz my top has thumb holes.

16. My car looks almost identical to the MSN car emoticon. Well, its the right colour.

17. We have a sexy new black modem. Although its not called a modem, its called a SURFBOARD!! *surfs the web* some people are lame.

18. Hoju is named from the Simpsons. Homer says to Bart "you can change your name to Homer Junior. The kids can call you HoJu!!"

19. There is a picture of a monkey on the wall. It has ‘pouty’ lips and a mohawk with red tips. It cracks mum up. Whenever she sees it she says "It’s funny coz its a monkey" and then imitates it.

20. I love when my parents quote The Simpsons. I find it to be the coolest thing in the world.

21. I’m incredibly lame, obviously.

22. The ridges in my water bottle are thoroughly entertaining me right now.

23. My hands have difficulty making loud. (they don’t like to clap)

24. Squidy just called me a ‘marvellous blessing’. That man cracks me up. Love him so, I do.

25. I have a bad habit of talking like Yoda, even though I didn’t know I did so until it was pointed out.

26. I have never seen a Star Wars movie. The closest to watching one has been the ads on tv.

27. MEW!!

28. I used to have a dictionary of my own stupid words written out (being my language, Sezlandish) but unfortunately I lost both the online copy and the file on my comp. ARSE! The only backup I have is too old to be any use, and contains words like "piyo" for pillow. LOL

29. I love OD so very much. It has allowed people to get to know me better, because I don’t tend to talk about a lot of things.

30. I prefer to write than to talk because I’m bad at flat out saying something… it only really works if someone flat out asks me something. Mmm… multiple flat-outs.

31. My body clock is rather set on Squidy’s time. Seeing as how it feels early afternoon to me, yet it is 3am. I’m so not going to have any trouble adjusting when I go up there for a month!!

32. The first CD I bought for myself was Bad by Michael Jackson. At the same time I also bought Invincible and the Cry single. Mmm… Fresh MJ stash!! I bought them the day after I saw the 30th Anniversary concert on the TeeVee. (mm chocolate snacks).

33. So in the last 4-5 years I’ve acquired about 20-30 Jackson 5/The Jacksons/Michael Jackson albums. There are VERY few I don’t own.

34. Despite not owning anything MJ till about 2001, I’ve loved "The way you make me feel" since it came out when I was …6? Something like that.

35. I keep just about everything. I have the receipt from the first CDs I bought. I have the envelope that the photos of Squidy came in (as if I’d throw that out! It has Squidy handwriting on!!).

36. I keep everything because when I throw things I out I tend to regret it a lot. Like the Hanson tshirt I got rid of. And the MJ poster that I got rid of… 10 years ago!!

37. I’m apparently rather flexible, but I don’t think I am so much anymore. That would be because I remember how I was when I was younger, when I was MUCH more flexible.

38. Its also the same logic behind why I feel so fat. I was STICK THIN till I was about 12-13… then I kinda went BAM and gained weight, half of that weight I still have. Meh.

39. There was a pen on the desk before, and being the child I am, I kept putting it in my mouth. It tasted rather bad.

40. My mind links songs to weird things. "fall again" by MJ, a beautiful love song, makes me think of Charles Manson, just coz I listened to that song a few times whilst reading about him. The entire "Affirmation" album reminds me of a book all about the Holocaust. Yet… these things do not at all disturb me.

41. "Goin Place

s" album by the Jacksons, and "Stripped" by Christina Aguilera both remind me of trips to Mt Eliza. I used to sing songs from those albums to myself when trying to sleep when I stayed there.

42. I despise Christmas music at any time other than Christmas. Actually, I rather dislike it then, but I cannot tolerate it at any other time.

43. The only Christmas stuff I can tolerate is the Hanson Christmas album. I’m listening to one of the songs right now and I don’t feel like going on a massacre. That’s impressive.

44. The word ‘tentacle’ can send me into giggling fits, if in the right mood.

45. "Jump For Joy" is my ultimate happy song. Once it made me burst into uncontrollable, shaky tears. *thumbs up* go depression *rolls eyes*

46. It’s 3:33am!!!

47. I make myself memorise facts about my friends. So I am the one who tends to remember birthdays, middle names, favourite stuffs. Things like that.

48. I can never remember what time I was born. Mum doesn’t know for certain either, so I think I do remember, but she keeps telling me different times!

49. I’ve known of the existence of my Squidy since the end of September last year, when I stumbled upon an entry where he was eating "entry pork" and I knew I’d found someone original. I love that entry!!!!

50. I knew he was something special to me when I got back from my Xmas holidays, noted him to say I was back and got a response of "I didn’t notice you had gone" …that hurt me, so clearly I cared what he thought! And then I took a week to bring up the courage to IM him on Yahoo lol. And he’s been one of my best friends ever since, and is more and more important to me every day.

51. I ramble when the topic is someone I love. =D

52. #50 is partial proof that EVERYONE in my life has hurt me at some point. Cept… I can’t think of anything for El. She rocks too many socks.

53. I’ve been slowly, slowly learning patience these past bunch of months. It’s not fun, but its a good thing to learn. I used to be the most impatient person ever.

54. I have an incredibly powerful imagination… sometimes.

55. I am VERY easily confused. Especially if the person confusing me is Cam. He confuses me at least twice every time I talk to him. He’s good at that.

56. I love painting my nails, except that they break MUCH easier when painted. I used to be able to draw pictures on my nails too, and I was quite good at it, but my hands shake too much now.

57. I can hardly carry cups and things without concentrating EXTREMELY HARD on making my hands not shake.

58. I can turn my feet around to face the other way, both at the same time to make about a 60 degree angle. Well, I used to be able to go that far, not sure how far I can now. Something like that. Mebbe its 90 degrees?

59. I was studying Psychology, but study is too stressful for me and I start attacking myself when I get too stressed, so I "deferred" because I feel my physical health is more important than studying for some degree I don’t even know what I would do with.

60. My fingers can crack in 3 ways each. My thumbs can be bent to touch my wrists (only the inner part of my wrist, not the back of my wrist)

61. My hips crack and ache a lot. When I was a baby I had dislocated hips and they annoy me a lot sometimes.

62. I count EVERYTHING. You send me an IM, I will count the number of characters in it. I look at a poster, I count the characters in that. I sit on the couch watching tv, in my head counting the number of windows, curtains, other things in the house.

63. I try to go to bed before anyone else wakes up, which means on weekdays 4:25am, except for Wednesday morning. That means I have about 10 minutes till I wanna be in bed tonight, so I’m not gonna have this list finished by then. BAM!

64. I’m always cold.

65. My favourite colour is purple.

66. My favourite animal is the tiger.

67. My favourite food is chicken fajitas. I hardly ever get to eat them though, except when I go out to lunch with Cam, and we go to the mexican place near uni. I love that place. Nice memories and things. heh

68. Matty, although he is 2 years younger than me, has always been treated like the older sibling.

69. Natey is 4 years younger than me, but we are so very alike we’re more twinish than anything.

70. I love that my Jenn and my Natey get on so well.

71. Even though I studied Italian for something like… 11 years, I don’t know much of it. I can read it mostly, but struggle with simple stuff sometimes, just like I do with english.

72. Sometimes my memory is utterly shocking. For instance, I have NO IDEA what I did today.

73. I had braces from February 25th 1997 to June 2nd 1998. 18 months. Exact dates. Told you I remember stuff well!

74. I had a metal plate on my bottom teeth from June 4th 98 to February something 2003. Twas about a week before I started uni. I also wore a removable plate on my top teeth for that time. I still wear it sometimes, I (for some reason) kinda like the pain of feeling my teeth move.

75. I was born late. I don’t know when I was due. All I know is that my childhood friend Rebecca (she lives 4 houses down from me!) and I were meant to be born on the same day, but she was early (bday 9 oct) and I was late. Maybe we were meant to be 20th Oct? I dunno. Mmm thinking.

76. I love to sing, when I’m home alone or driving by myself. It’s only recently that I’ve started kinda singing when others are in the car too.

77. I don’t sing happy birthday. If you listen, you’ll never hear my voice amongst the group. Except when I say "Natey" instead of Michael. Only time.

78. I love going to TGI Fridays and having nachos. They have jalepenos on them. So yummy, I loooove the spicyness!!

79. My bedroom door is covered in MJ pictures that I have wanted to change around for a great deal of time, but I put the majority of them up there on Dec 20 2003 when the whole trial started, and told myself I wouldn’t TOUCH them till it was all over. SCORE I can touch them! =D

80. I have a single door for my wardrobe, and its full of clothes and other junk. The boys have double doors each, neither of them hang anything up, Matty has an empty wardrobe and refuses to keep anything in it coz OH NO IT WILL RUIN HIS NEATNESS so they both have baskets of clothes on the floor in their room. They refuse to store ANY of the junk I have, so I’m stuck with not enough room and too much stuff.

81. There is a ‘golden’ clock with a horse on top somewhere in one of our rooms. It never w

orked, and no one really wanted it, so we would hide it in each others rooms and wait. I think its on top of the stack of jigsaw puzzles in Natey’s part of the room, but no one ever looks there so its gonna be a while till someone finds it. I hid it there about 2 years ago.

82. Petie said about 8 years ago that he was going to sneak up on me and scare me shitless. He hasn’t done it yet! He said "I’ll wait till you forget, and then BAM!" …trust me, he’s forgotten before I have.

83. Matty bought this toy cow home once. It was hilarious, you squeeze its belly and it starts laughing all moo-ishly. Cracked me up. Cracked mum up too. Jenn vividly remembers seeing mum crack up over it, so do I, it was FUNNY. Once mum cracked up laughing at something, and she couldn’t tell me more than "elephant". I had to wait about 5 years to find out what was so funny. An elephant sat on some guy and the guys head went up the elephant butt. Jenn and I (Jenn knows A LOT about silly little things in my life like this lol) still randomly mention it to mum, she cracks up but not as bad as she used to.

84. And finally… I have to wear socks as much as possible, because I start picking at my nails and the skin on the tips of my toes otherwise. Mmm socks!
