It’s related, and important.

Would you guess that this face means "haha I’m about to poop all over myself and mummy"? I think the tikka masala we made the other day has had an effect on the little one. She’s been having a fair few liquid poops lately, and I want to blame that. Actually, I don’t want to blame that, but it would make the most sense.

My hand aches, so this entry may be short. Stupid knuckles, or joints, or whatever you want to call it.

I feel really silly. I realised while I was in the shower that Ashley takes a nap every evening, and has for a while. I knew about her other naps (30-60 minutes a few hours after waking, 2-3 hours in the afternoon) but this one never occured to me. Probably because she is always in Jake’s arms for this nap. It is nice though, I don’t feel like I’m making Jake spend time with the babe while I do other things. Her long nap is always in my arms/on my lap (if she’s not, she will only sleep 30 minutes max) so it is Jake’s turn, haha.

This morning I put Ashley on a folded up blanket for her nap, so I could see her (and also because the only way I can get her to sleep without boob is to lay down next to her and almost fall asleep myself) while I did other things. I played Goldeneye on the N64 and it was SO MUCH FUN. It felt so good to spend a little bit of time doing exactly what I wanted to do, and it really gave me a spirit boost. And then this afternoon Ashley and I went in the kitchen and I prepped for dinner, which also made me feel good.

The other night Ashley scooted her way off the playmat and onto the other side of the room and back again. It was pretty adorably awesome. I have a video of some of it but it hasn’t uploaded yet. She only goes in a counter-clockwise circle, but that’s still pretty good.
