“Is your name Milhouse?” “No… Thrillho. Silly.”

Man, I’m really getting slack with the writing here. Mostly because I don’t have anything to say.

We got Jake’s necklace back from the repair place yesterday. The lady who worked at the jewellers knew of us because she was a client at Lisa’s massage place so she had heard many stories. So we friendly chitchatted for a bit and then when we went to pay she wouldn’t accept the money. So that was all kinds of very very lovely and nice.

Last night before bed though, Jake went to take his necklace off and it broke. In the same place it was broken when we sent it off. Yargh! Because we hadn’t paid for it, we decided to go to Target and the mall today to see if we could find a new necklace. And if we failed, then we would go back and complain that they suck.

Thankfully, we found a new chain. It was one of the few options we found, but it is the nicest. Because it is so new and super-shiny it looks rather feminine… but only when his shirt is off. Which is REALLY odd, because I am married to a VERY hairy man. When he has a shirt it looks very neutral. Really weirds me out. Hopefully after a week or so of being on that sweaty neck all day long it will lose a bit of its luster and not look so… confusing. lol

So, yeah. We went to Target today. Not to get tar though. Can you get tar at target? That would be amusing. I hadn’t been there since the week we moved in here (when we got the lamp! and then I had to put it together. I’ve put together all our furniture bits.. well, a lamp, a towel rack and the dining table. But still, it’s all me and no Jake. Because I kick that much ass) so I was very impressed with myself that I knew exactly where I was going. We didn’t find much exciting things there, but we looked! It was nice wandering around, especially wandering through the kitchen stuff area because both of us enjoy looking at that stuff.Unfortunately we didn’t get any of the kitcheny things we want. I guess because that is where we got most of our kitcheny things, and if we had spotted the things we want now back then we would have purchased them then!

We went to the mall afterwards for lunching. mmm.

And that has been our day!

Oooh, the other day at Walt’s there was a big friendly puppy that put it’s head on our laps when we sat down there. Was so cute. Made Jake and I both rather smiley because we love random puppy encounters. It’s like when we spot the family with the pugs walking around. They always make us giggle.

My title… I love Jake and his silliness. Thrillho… heh

ryn: well i drink so much water to buy all the tme and you can’t drink adelaide tap water… and so whenever i go back to murray bridge i fill up water things to bring back with me (cause we have a rainwater tank there) so i don’t have to buy as much water 🙂

ryn: haha yeah, it’s a bit annoying. i find it weird whenever i go to melbourne or any other state that i can drink it and it’s fine, i grew up thinking people either drank rainwater or puratap 😛

I’m glad he found a new necklace, and I’m sure it will become all tarnished and manly in no time. :o) Is it gold or silver? I’m puppy crazy and have really been thinking about getting a third recently. However, I noticed that the dog park has a rule of two puppies per adult patron. I go alone because Clay doesn’t care for it and I love it, so it wouldn’t be fair to have a puppy get left behind. (Tee hee! That made me think, “No puppy left behind,” like the “No child left behind,” legislation in the US. Hahaha! I’m such a loser!) Anywho, you know what I mean, my heart would break for the left-out puppy so I can’t get a third.~jo

>I am married to a VERY hairy man Is Jake a bigfoot?

RYN: I bet Jake and I contribute to most of the Bigfoot sightings in CT though. *laughing*

Hey, so I realized tonight I forgot to thank you for the birthday wishes. Thanks, and I’m sorry I missed it until now.

I saw a pug last night and me and J both turned to each other and said “been a while since I’ve seen one of those” Pugs induce much happiness.
