Inferior wet stout
Jake has this morning off, again, because of snow. There wasn’t all that much, but the restaurant was dead so he got to stay home with me for a few hours. We played MJ: The Experience for a while, partially because it’s loads of fun and I wanted Jake to experience that, and partially because it was really cold and I couldn’t be bothered putting the heat on. So we danced. And it was fun.
I love knowing when I will next get to see someone I love. Knowing we will have a houseguest in the future is a great thing for me, it gives me something to look forward to, and I always need something to look forward to. Mum asked me this morning if the dates for Dad’s visit in April sound good before she booked his tickets. YAY DAD VISIT! And Ellen told me yesterday that she is 95% certain that she will be coming to visit next January, when we can play in the snow and such (last time she came here it was autumn and very beautiful, so now she needs to come when it is snowy and beautiful in a different way). So that makes double-good-yay-stuff. I always need something within the next 12 months to look forward to, otherwise I just…. I dunno.
i don’t really have anything else to say. Normally I’d sit here and think but Jake is hovering waiting for the computer because I told him he could have it once I was done here. So I’m done here.
Goodnight!
Title: Because I’m not a superior dry lager, Natey asked if that meant I was the opposite. Which I am not, as well, but it does make for a funny word combo.
I always feel bad reading a entry about snow when it was 76 here today….

How far a drive are you from NYC? Clay and I are thinking of going to NYC in March or April and I’d LOVE to stop by your little town and eat at the Split Rail and visit Socktopus if you’re ok with that. :o) ~jo

having something to look forward to is essential for me otherwise I can get very depressed. I am happy you have your Dad and then Ellen to look forward to. What are the dates for your Dad? I am going to Myrtle Beach 4/25-5/4 or something like that.
