I’m sorry you’re stupid. Have a milk dud.
So. Candy corn.
These are the ones I made. Some came out giant, others still big but closer to the size they should be, and some were made in funky different colours. That was because for some reason I had more white left over so I made about 8 pieces that are green/purple instead of orange/yellow.
These are my candy corn on brownie muffins. These things are so adorably tiny (and when I make my brownies as mini-muffins, the recipe is foolproof, which I adore). These were made for the pumpkin carving party downstairs this afternoon. They were very much enjoyed, and everyone was amazed/astounded that I made the candy corn.
This is the pumpkin Jake and I carved! Isn’t it awesome? It’s meant to be a wolf. I think we did a pretty good job, despite the fact we were very silly and did the big bits before the facial details, so we (I) had to hold the face while trying hard not to stab ourselves in the hand.
Sara (annoying waitress) had her birthday last Tuesday, so they all sang happy birthday to her at the party. Jake and I sang along, but sang to me instead (seeing as my birthday is the coming Tuesday). I pretended everyone was singing to me as well. Plus I didn’t feel obliged to eat the cake because it wasn’t bought for me! Best way to do it. I thought it was rather odd/amusing that someone with my name has a birthday so close to mine.
I snacked on a donut and chips and my candy corn and now I’m not dinner-hungry. Feel I should eat real food though, not for me but for the little one.
It’s apparently going to snow 6-10 inches tomorrow! WTF? That’s early. It was ridiculously cold last night and it will be all weekend. Brrr.
I feel Milk Duds are the friendliest of the box candies 😉

Ouh, the green/purple ones could be zombie teeth! 😀 I wonder how long Sara is going to be annoying and useless at her job.

RYN: One of my noters said she buys nothing for her kids until they are at least 2 except for junk from the dollar store. I cannot think of anything at the dollar store that is appropriate for babies (usually it’s ages 3+) and I really don’t like buying junk just to have something. I’d rather spend the couple bucks in one non-junk item.

Love the pumpkin!! You two are very talented. Love the look of the candy corn too, even if it is a bit tooth-like. The candy corn looks terrific on the mini muffin.
