I’m corgeous!
So, yeah. The fridge-freezer is dying. If the milk yesterday hadn’t semi-cooked, I wouldn’t have noticed! So we drank a pint of icecream last night. Talk about a way to make yourself feel sick.
Early this morning Jake and I gathered all the stuff from in the cold place and took it downstairs to the restaurant. They are storing our perishables until tomorrow. Because tomorrow, at about 11am I have been told, a new fridge is coming! So that’s exciting. It’ll be nice and sparkly clean.
Russ came over this afternoon to double check he had ordered the right size or something. And even though I think this place is rather messy, he told me it looks really nice and such. So that was sweet. Good to know our landlord thinks I am taking good care of his property. He also told Jake on their way out that we’re good tenants. So that’s nice.
Last night we watched Mr Brooks, which was a rather enjoyable movie about a man who is addicted to killing, but doesn’t want to kill anymore. Tonight we watched Henry Poole Is Here, which was a whole bunch of odd.
All week I had planned for tonight’s meal to be wraps from the store (mmm delicious) so I’m very glad for that, I didn’t feel like I was being FORCED to spend money on foodstuffs. It was planned! I had a turkey blt and oh, I love them. They have cranberry mayo and that is just lovely. I ate most of it at dinner time and had the rest at the time I would normally have a milky beverage, so I won’t be hungry when it is bedtime. Had to keep the ‘dessert’ portion in the freezer, which is still rather cold, but not FREEZING cold. Much better than keeping stuff in the fridge part, where it is about… maybe as cold as cold water from the tap.
Jake keeps trying to call me cute and gorgeous in the same word. So I am corgeous. He shared that word with me today, and I shared my word for being more scared than terrified. Pterrified. It makes me giggle when I think it because it is a terrified pterodactyl and that’s kind of…. well… terrifying actually. But also funny. I’ve had this word in my head for MONTHS but I don’t think I have ever shared it. Now I have.
Also, I loved this.
ryn: aww ryn2: Yeah it does. He doesn’t seem to get it though.

How many times can ‘yooth’ be said in a proper monologue in a Scottish accent in 3 minutes and eight seconds? Pterodactyls had long ‘fingers’ just like you.

I’m glad your landlord is getting you a new fridge. I think ours would lose his head if it wasn’t attached.
