I’m a bacon MACHINE

The bottom of this cookie tastes like butter. It’s AWESOME. It’s a good thing I don’t bake more often.

All weekend, and all day today, I have felt like I’m wasting my time, like there is something I could and should be doing to keep my american life save but right now there isn’t. And that sucks. Makes it hard for me to enjoy my day. I spent this afternoon watching "The Other Sister" and I enjoyed that. Very cute and sweet and it made me cry. Little fishie Trogdor was watching me watch the movie the whole time, he was just resting on top of his frogs looking at me but when I went to get the camera a noise scared him and he moved. Silly fish needs to be so cute more often. If this desk wasn’t so wobbly I’d keep him right here, where my foot is. I really shouldn’t keep my foot above the keyboard, but it’s comfy!

Yesterday Jake napped and I made chicken pot pie for dinner. So good. Deceptively filling too, we both eat a decent amount and feel hungry still… a few minutes later we are bulging with stuffedness. It was fun to make it all by myself too, doing three things at once and not letting anything burn or get weird or anything. Successful eating. All gone now though. Still some chicken though, must remember that. Mmm… snackies.

I do believe my title is from Jake calling me a baking machine and me not quite hearing him properly. We do have accent issues every so often, which I love because… I don’t want us to have the same accent. That would mean I’ve completely lost mine. And there are still a few aussies things I can say that Jake gets confused by, which amuses me. The other day I went to get some chewy and he looked so confused when I said that. Which is odd, because that is one of the least confusing nomenclatural things I have said… but it isn’t a common one at all for me so maybe that’s it.
