If you fade out it seems like more time has passed

Jake so loves it that we have a N64 here. Every opportunity he gets, he runs off to play games, especially Tetrisphere, which was his favourite many years ago when he had one of those.

It’s cute. And good coz otherwise I’d have him by my side 24 hours a day, and after a few weeks, that gets a bit much. I love him, but I’m so glad we’re not glued together.

This week has been a butt. I hate having my period. Even when its not a proper one. Stupid half-arsed body, do something! Ooh, and everytime I go lay down in bed, my calves (sorry, baby cows) hurt so much I can’t sleep.

Cept today. This afternoon Jake and I had a most lovely nap for a few hours, even though the bed had no sheets or anything coz they were all in the wash. Ooh, I gotta make the bed. I’ll  go do that now… plus I gotta pee!

mmm… all done.

We went grocery shopping today. That was fun. Walked out of there with so many chocolate related things! Like coco pops (which will prolly mean I’ll be eating breakfast!), milo, nutella, and easter ‘egg’ type things for my friends that are still in the country. Being 2 people. That I don’t hardly see enough of. oooh, and lamingtons. But they don’t have jam in the middle, so that’s just bad. Well not really, but its not right!

The thing about having someone else here is I feel I gotta eat proper meals, and I can’t just sit around doing nothing all day. It makes me feel, lazy and ….something that means I don’t eat well.

We’ve been watching season 1 of House this week. Well, yesterday. We watched 4 episodes of it. And then tonight, being House night, they showed one of the eps we watched yesterday so we watched a dvd’d ep. mmm dvds.

Did I mention my mum is on camp? Well, she is. Till Saturday. Then next week the parents are going to Adelaide. They want Jake and I to go with, so we can see my nanna and I can show him off to my cousins and such over there. But… I so don’t wanna go. The parents will only be at nanna’s for a day or so, then they are going off to a family reunion thing we’re not invited to. So it’ll be us two, with my nanna, not having any way of getting around a place that I don’t know past a 2 or 3 block radius of my nanna’s house. So that would suck. So yeah, I’m rambling.

I should go find Headbutt and make sure she’s not about to puke her guts out… again. That poor kitty, she’s so gross.
