If my hair was longer, I could totally *scarf* it!
Monday marks 2 years since I started using something other than shampoo to clean my hairs. Last year in June Jake bought itty bitty travel size shampoo and conditioner so we would have something to use when we went to Ireland, I didn’t want to take little packets of baking soda and apple cider vinegar. I finished those mini 3oz bottles today. It’s nice to every so often ‘treat’ myself to pretty smelling hair stuff. I always always miss the delicious slick feeling that such thing deliver during the washing process, when I clean with the BS solution it is very… I can’t run my fingers through my hair no matter how hard I try. But even though that part feels so nice, now… I washed my hair an hour ago. It feels… yuck. It’s good to every so often do this, because it makes me want to stay the way I have gone, rather than return just for the nice wash-feel and smell.
We ran out of soup today. That was an awesome bucket of soup, lasted all week! Yay for soup!
I found out…. this morning? Jake mentioned that Barb was going to bring us some of her garden vegetables! That would be sO AWESOME, I’d have to get all creative to use up the veggies. I hope we get a bunch. I have been really looking forward to getting some from her, she gave us truckloads last year and they were mmmm….
Tomorrow we have to really fun stuff. Clean clothes. I really really wish we had our own washer and dryer/clothesline. We have no space though, so we have to utilise laundromats. But after we are done and home again… there is a town fair thing going on in the same park-area where the farmer’s market is held, so we’re gonna go check that out. We saw a whole bunch of rides and stuff set up on Wednesday, hopefully there are things that are good that are non-rides, because we aren’t really ride people. Either way, should be a nice time out in the sunlight. We might head over and watch the fireworks at night too, maybe. Dunno about that part yet. Shall be good either way though.
How are you all doing? Hopefully well. 🙂
There’s nothing better than fresh vegetables, straight from the garden. ^_^ Enjoy the fair!

What do you usually use to wash your hair other than shampoo? I think I’d cry without my conditioner. It makes my hair all soft and smooth ^–^ x
