“I think that guy was a swarm of bees!”
Ellen is watching Survivor (well, Jake is too, but it was Ellen’s pick!) so I’m here. Entry! Woo!
Monday we made delicious chili. So good. Although, it wasn’t as good as it has previously been, but I think that may be baby altering my tastebuds because Jake and Ellen adored it. Ellen practically licked her bowl both nights we had it. Mmm.
Today I had an appointment with the midwife. The nice midwife. So that was fun. I had gained almost 4lb from the last time I was there, which was kind of unexpected because the Wii last week said I hadn’t gained anything in 2 months. Hopefully that was 2 weeks ago and I forgot to weigh myself last week, otherwise that is a pretty big jump. Not that weight gain is a bad thing at this point. 🙂
Jake is adorable and almost started to cry when we heard the heartbeat again. He’s such a happy expectant daddy. Ultrasound in 2 weeks WOO!
In the afternoon, after the appointment, I had achy belly for so long. I know it was just growing and stretching and such, but ow, not fun being so uncomfortable.
Ellen made pizza for dinner. Dough and all. Found out our extra virgin olive oil had gone funky, and our balsamic vinegar had solidified. I didn’t even know it would do that! So odd. This is what happens when we buy ingredients we use once or twice. Oh well. So instead of having balsamic onions we had caramelised onions with a touch of brown sugar. With delicious chicken breast cooked with… i think it was montreal chicken seasoning? Good stuff. Jake and Ellen had mushrooms on theirs, I had pineapple on mine. We ended up with 2 pizzas so that was pretty cool. 5 slices leftover, 3 pineapple ones. Lunch tomorrow YAY!
Ellen made dinner entirely by herself (except for the pineapple placement, I did that! I helped!) which was awesome of her. And it was so very very tasty, and just awesome because mmmm pizza.
Man people on Survivor get annoying when they may be getting voted off.
Title: Some point in this interview. It made me laugh so much I had to write it down in the puzzle book.

ryn: Thank you. I actually really appreciate your saying that. Definitely helps point me in the right direction! Daniel and I tried making pizza the other week, with the dough. But I think our yeast was a bit past its used by date! So looking forward to the entry after your ultrasound!!! =D xx

That chicken was good! Montreal seasoning it was. I liked your chilli a lot!! I’m glad you liked my pizza. Solidified balsamic is weird.

I didn’t know olive oil could go funky. Or that vinegar could go solid. What the?! That’s so odd. I guess you really do learn something new every day haha

I’m sure I’ve said it a thousand times, but it is SO unbelievably cute that you are pregnant. You and Jake are going to be the best parents <3. Mmmm pizza sounds good. I’m trying to decide what to have for lunch and dinner today, pizza sounds amazingggg!!

I clicked on the link to watch the interview and then remembered that the speakers aren’t connected so I can’t hear anything. Tried lip-reading but I am too tired. Yummy chili and pizza.

I love the crap out of you and Jake. I love how excited he is for the little Squiggle. 🙂 ~L

Was the oil in the fridge or somewhere else cold? Cold makes oil go cloudy (I discovered that the hard way!)

ryn: Tehehe, how funny that we are both anticipating better weather, only it’s the complete opposite types of weather! Granted, if we had winters with snow here, I’d probably look forward to winter too!

you always have such scrumptious entries Just google funnel cake, am so making those!

I love homemade pizza!! I’ve been debating making some up, but I have to go out and get a pizza stone 🙂

… OK, wait, WHAT?! I’ve never, ever had balsamic solidify before, and now I actually want to ignore our bottle forever and hope that it does, too.Because, really, that’s pretty freaking cool.

Funky olive oil!? I thought it lasted forever! I’ve had mine go gloudy when it was cold but that’s easily fixed with a bit of a shake and moving it to a warmer spot. Lee Mee xXx

ryn: Battery Mashed Potato O_O uuuummm… Haha. I’m impressed that you’ve memorized an entire credit card number! That would be quite dangerous information to keep in ones memory though, wouldn’t it? =P
Warning Comment
Aww 🙂 Ryn: I know! It means 2 separate things. It’s much more convenient with just one.

chili and pizza? I’m jealous! and pineapple on top of it! lol
