I smell like a potato-cake army

We went to lunch with Jake’s mum Lisa today. Went to Chili’s where I now think they suck again because they got rid of the delicious burger that I was nuts for. Silly restaurant just lost my business until that tasty comes back. Instead I had a chicken wrap that had WAY too much guacamole (GWAH!) which is a texture I just can’t deal with.

We had the most amazing desserts though. And we were silly, and each got our own, and only ate half each. Lots of wasted deliciousness. I felt sick for hours afterwards because I ate as much as I could! The picture above is Jake’s choice, twas ‘paradise pie’ or something similar.

After lunch we went to the cinema to see Avatar. In 3D. Man those glasses hurt my eyes and face. I don’t like things sitting on my face for too long. Hats, headbands, glasses… even having my hair tied up hurts after a short while. I don’t know why. Meh.

Anyway, the movie. Not bad. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it, but I knew it would be pretty. I have no desire to ever see it again, and I’m glad I didn’t pay for my ticket, but it wasn’t bad. 🙂

Overall, a very nice afternoon with lovely people.
