I get pizza tomorrow!
Nothing much happened today.
We grocery shopped. It was a small list, very small for us, so for once I had money to give to the food bank thing they ask if you want to donate to every time. I always feel so guilty saying "not today" so it was nice to actually say yes for once.
We waited for Kerry to come visit, but she forgot. I expected such a thing to happen, her visiting was even written on the whiteboard with a question mark because she very rarely shows up when she says she is going to come visit. She says she will come by tomorrow morning some time. I do believe she will.
Jake and I (well, Ashley too) watched part of the Bad25 thing that was on Thanksgiving night. It is so awesome. Bad is my favourite album so seeing all the making-of footage for the short films is lovely. Plus I get to add even more info into the stories for Jake, which is fun for me. He loved watching it almost as much as I did. He was an MJ fan in his youth but had let that fandom slip, until he met me and I started bombarding him with the awesome. Ashley climbed all over me and made silly faces and played. It was a nice way to spend the afternoon.
Skype with my parents tonight kinda sucked because our video didn’t work so they couldn’t see us. I don’t know what was wrong there. One more Skype until we see them in person!
My evening beverage is a hot chocolate with a candy cane in it. Plus I had marshmallows on top. It is too sweet for me. Ever since I was carrying Ashley, I can’t handle sugar the way I used to. It kinda makes me sad. Delicious drink though. Have to make christmassy drinks now because I won’t want hot beverages in Aus.
Ashley has returned to sleeping in her crib at night, in case you were wondering. She does end up spending a few hours per night with me but that is because I fall asleep while she is eating. If I can stay awake, once she is done I can transfer her no problem.
Tomorrow we are having 2 lots of visitors! Kerry in the morning, Nick and Stacy at dinner time. Should be loads of fun! I love seeing the people we love.
10 days until we leave! WOO!
I feel guilty when we don’t have money for that either. Or when I don’t have coins for the Salvation Army kettle. We often don’ carry cash but our family really loves the SA b/c they helped Andrew’s grandma when she was pregnant and kicked out of the house as a teen! Of course whenever I worked retail I never felt bad if someone said no but I guess I have a guilty conscience easily.
