I could have a yard-moose!

I got sick of posting snow-related pictures. So this is old, but it’s a good one. I do believe those dark dots on the left in the background are kangaroos. There were a whole bunch in this area, yet none visible in the photo? I don’t quite understand that. (Is it odd that I kinda miss grass like that?)

Today…. nothing. Jake wrapped my christmas presents. Used the rest of the best roll of wrapping paper I had. So now I have to find mroe candy cane wrapping paper. Or just candy wrapping paper. Wrapping gifts to make them look extra tasty? That’s just AWESOME.

I apologise for the lack of title-explanation yesterday. There was no explanation. I don’t even think I was hungry. They were just the words that came to mind when I was up to title-ing. Today’s title is much better though. The other day I was talking about gingerbread houses to Jake, and how like this house I could have animals in the yard (if you clicked the link… didn’t my mum make the most awesome birthday cakes ever??) and really… a yard-moose would be awesome.

I believe I am sufficiently gingerbread obsessed lately. It’s really unfair that christmas is is 2 weeks, and the family is having a christmas-gathering on the 3rd of January. Means I have to wait. Or make tiny batches of things… depends if eggs are needed. Those always determine how small the batches of stuff need to be.

That is a fantastic cake! I once had a Halloween-themed birthday party and my mom made a graveyard cake. It was chocolate cake with green frosting. there were some open graves with little skeletons in them and she used cookies as headstones. It was such a jolly cake!

Oh wow…that gingerbread house looks so delicious!!

That is an awesome cake and an awesome photo. I think that would look really cool in black and white for some reason.

You could hang decorations from the yard-moose’s antlers!

I don’t think that was a gingerbread house was it? Ordinary cake with gingerbread decorations I think. For your birthday. I made a gingerbread house for Christmas once. Probably no photos of that though.

have you tried the gingerbread pancakes at IHOP? Deeeeelish!

tell you what I love bout Oz. Is that it all smells uber-gum treey and we never noticed coz we lived there. It’s like one biiig air freshner. And dead grass is awesome, I miss it, the lively green springy grass in Ireland does not compare it’s like it’s all fake-happy in-your-face after a while
